Trip and stuff....

So, I went to a trip with my dear family for two days. It was both fun... and mentally exhusting. I love and adore my aunt and her family. I really do. But sometimes I feel they are a bit harsh on my cousins. Especially there son. At 19 he is no child, even though they seem to threat him that way. :-/ I was 19 when I left to live in the US for a year, fer crying out loud!

Well, apart from that it was a lovely time. We went to the city Halmstad, and checked out there epic library. And yes, my dear mates, library-nerds and comic-lovers... They had an awesome comic and fantasy section! I do approve off putting comics together with fantasy actually. And it wasn't put in the adult section or the kid/young adult section either... It got its own section in between those two. Clever. So that was a happy surprise. I always check that section out when I visit a new library. A habit since thats what mine and chigrimas masters thesis was about. :-)

On the evening we spent there we visited a wonderful wild west steakhouse that had some really awesome food and awesome booze! *smirk* Yep, that was indeed fun. Most of us got a bit tipsy there, highly amusing.

And the last day there we just walked around the city, did some shopping at a big mall, and just enjoyed ourselfs. And had a great time. :-)

So, cousins?

Ellabella? Hang in there. You'll get a good job, I know it. You are to talanted not to. I just have to get my ass in gear and get over there and get one of your awesome spa treatments before you move to Norwey, Turkey or wherever you find a job! *hugs* Also, sorry about Sunday, luv...

Josse? You gorgeous girl! I really need to get out on town and have you bartend me! *grin* Sounds like your learning that trade, and fast! And that you like it to. Having seen Kiltfan in action over the years, I know you can make good money there... If you enjoy it. ;-) I hope you find your dream. *hugs*

And Vicke... *hugs* You to will find your dream. I know it. Maybe that dream-trip won't happen this year... But it will happen. Just stay strong. You'll prove yourself, I can see it in your eyes. You are much, MUCH stronger then anyone give you credit for. Much love to you.

Visst stämmer det att vi daltar lite med Viktor. Eller jag och mamma daltar med honom, och josse och pappa skäller på honom. Så visst har han inte lätt. Men hans sätt att agera på är inte som andra 19- åringar alltid. Hans sätt att tänka på är inte som andra 19-åringars. Problematiken ligger i att han gör saker för att göra oss andra nöjda hela tiden. Han har svårt att förstå och göra saker för sig själv. Hur vi i familjen sedan agerar för att hjälpa honom förstå är säkert inte alltid det mest korrekta sättet.
Jag jobbar mycket med samtal med Viktor, konsekvensanalyser och låter honom tänka mycket själv. För att han ska förstå och hjälpa.

Sedan barnslar vi oss väl lite extra bara för att driva med lillebror. Du har ju också en lillebror. :P

Vad vackert du skriver om oss. Tycker väldigt mycket om er med. Ni är som syskon till oss. Så glad att vår släkt fungerar som den gör och att den är så full av kärlek.

Ni är mina extra småsyskon! Och jag oroar mig för er. :-/ Som äldst i kusin högen hävdar jag att jag har rätt att göra det. :-)

Visst. Det är sant. Viktor är lite annorlunda. Men! Jag tror att stå på egna ben är viktigt oxå. Något han inte har fått en chans att göra. Visst. Han myslyckas förmodligen. Åker på besvikelser etc. Men det är en del av livet. Som man lär sig av. Alla behöver gå igenom dem. Hem kan man alltid komma efteråt och få stöd. Så har det varit för mig, tänk vad blyg jag var innan jag åkte till USA! Inget självförtroende alls, trodde jag var det mest värdelösa på vår jord. Men. Jag lärde mig stå på egna ben efter den resan, kan jag lova!

Families have their own weird dynamics. Glad it sounds like you had a good time anyway.

I saw half an episode of Xena today. They were stuck in some strange Shangri-La-ish place where Gabrielle did yoga with a creepy guy, and Xena got tormented by her dark side. It was all some time after Gabrielle had Hope and all that. I didn't see the conclusion though. Think I'll have to watch that show season by season...

That they do, true. :-) And my cousins on that side of the family feels like my own siblings, you know? So, I can't help but worry. :-P Yeah, yeah... I am a bloody mother hen. *face-desk*

Oh! I know that episode. :-) It is kinda cool, I think. How the bad guy plays to both there best and worst sides. You are free to borrow the series, one season at a time, if you take GOOD care of them! I am a bit protective of my Xena DVDs, since I bought them from the US through EBay. :-P
