Such lovely two days this has been... Oh yes! A mini-vacation!
Last year me and
peting73 got giftcertificates from mom since we has helped her paint half her house. Well, we used them this weekend. At a SPA here in Sweden called Lundsbrunn. It was AMAZING! :-D
When we got there yesterday, we told the lovely girl in the reception desk that we both are "SPA-noobs"... *smirk* She just grinned with us and told us just how it worked. Everyone we talked to there were lovely and very very helpful. So when we had checked in we walked around the little village where the SPA is located. It is a very very small village in the midst of nowhere, but very cozy with a lot of old and pretty houses. Then we got back and took some snacks that were standing everywhere in the whole building. And so, it was time for the massage. We got a kimono-looking robe when we arrived, so we put that one on, and our bathing clothes and went to get a back-massage. Oh, it was BLISS I tell you! *sigh* Half an hour later, I was relaxed... Went to the pools with really hot water and just enjoyed myself.
peting73 had his massage a little later, so he joined me a little later in the pools. He agreed it was blissful. :-)
After staying in the pool for 1 ½ hour, we got up and got ready for dinner, also included in the price. And OH MY GAWD! Such lovely lovely food! We ate so much you wouldn't believe it. And the wine was great to! It was all set up in a buffet and you could eat all you wanted. First we got a drink, then there was appetizer-buffet (classical swedish summer-food and white wine) and then there was the main course buffet (minced meat beef made of wild boar and chanterelle-sauce and red wine) and lastly a lovely dessert (with dessert-wine). We were so full, we almost puked! X-D
After a long nights sleep, I woke up with menstrual cramps and my period... Joy... or not. But I didn't let that stop me! The plan for that day was to try on yoga and enjoy the pools some more before leaving. We skipped the pools, but we did try on yoga! And yoga... is damn sneaky. ;-D It looks so damn simple. And the moves aren't that hard to figure out. But! You have to concentrate on your breathing to. And your supposed to breath in a certain way. Also, I am not as flexible as I thought. :-P But it was a lot of fun! And it got my cramps to go away for a while! I am so gonna see if I can find a yoga-place around here!
Then we went home, and now we are here, and just relaxing. :-) Been a great weekend! :-D
