David Eddings is dead. :-/ He has been my favorite author for years and years... Especially for the brutal and sometimes down right macabre humor in his books. I loved that. I didn't know it, but his wife died a few years ago to. They were co-authors. A good team. So many stories... *sigh*

On other, more annoying, news. I got all the paperwork done for unemployment fund. Except one thing... And that form is to be filled and sent to me from my old work. They promised to fix this two weeks ago. Without it I won't get any money from the unemployment fund. Guess what? They haven't sent it yet. Called today and asked why. The answer was that it was embarrising and it should have gotten to me a week ago. Riiiight. Bitches. I am so happy to be out of there. Just give me my damn form, and you'll never hear from me again.

And again. More drama among the blinkie-comms... *shakes head*

Life. What can you do? :-P

Yeah, it is bloody annoying. And I can't do anything about it, more then call them constantly and remind them about it. And I am stuck and can't get anything from that fund if I don't get that bloody piece of paper!

Oh man, I don't know what I would do if my favorite author died. =o\ I'd be sad - his books were the only ones I would read for years - just recently I expanded to read other books - how sad. =o\

Gah. I feel the same way about my past job - so glad to be gone - I never thought about unemployment - but +shrugs+ if we got it - we probably wouldn't have gotten medicaid // WIC. =o\ Which we really need because we would be super broke if we had to pay for all of that. =o|


+sigh+ That's why I'm not in any solo-blinkie comms. I just kick it in my community and I'm fine lol.

Yeah. It is pretty sad. :-/ I have read his books since I was a kid. I loved them all. Have most off his books in my bookshelf. Sad thing indeed.

And your own comm is quite successful, I'd say. :-) You have a lot of people there that enjoys it. :-)

=o\ I'm so glad my community is doing good.. even with being MIA so much. It means a lot - when I came to LJ from greatestjournal - I wasn't nearly as good as anyone else on LJ and I was scared it wouldn't go anywhere.. but I started dabling in blinkies again - after going to GJ and it not being popular at all - so.. yeah. I d unno.
