This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Seems like everyone is moving to Dreamwidth. :-/ That makes me so damn sad. Near to my entire flist was up about it today. Damn. I'll miss them. I am not leaving however. Not only because I have a permanent account, but because I have been here for so damn long. It has become home.

Anyway.

Been at the zoo today with [livejournal.com profile] peting73s little family. :-) It was alot of fun actually. I always enjoy going to the zoo. And especially to look at the brown bears, the lynx, the wolverines and... the wolf of course. :-) The four big predators in the north. And they are BEAUTIFUL!!!! :-D The lynx was hard to spot, but the other three happily showed them selfs to the audience. :-) So, that was awesome, in fact. The weather was amazing. Not to hot and not to cold. Just warm enough so you didn't need a sweater or a jacket of any kind. Wonderful.

I asked [livejournal.com profile] shapinglight how long her story ended up being. The one that took three years to post? Well, here is the word count: The first story, Coming of Age ended up being 190,000 words (exactly, according to her). The sequel, Age of Unreason, ended up being 472,000. Thats a lot of words. A long story. And one hell of a plot. Again, I tell you to go read this. It will take time, for sure. But it is definitly worth it. :-) Go friend [livejournal.com profile] glassdarklyuk to read the friends locked posts. :-)

Happy wolf...

I'm not leaving lj, have no intention of doing so. I know some people really like dreamwidth, but I'm good where I am.

What I am doing is moving all my fanfic there. Because of my job, I need to separate my writing and my personal journal. All the personal stuff is locked down, but the writing is public. My students are smart enough with 1 good clue they could find me on LJ.

edited because the stupid thing posted before I was done!

I am glad to hear it. It seems like such a silly thing, really. Everyone seem to be all over themselfs that they have to leave, and it is oh so much better then LJ and... Oh, I am just tired off hearing about Dreamwidth really. :-P
