Update on... life.

So what have I been up to this week? Well, I can assure you one thing. That breating problem I had during Easter hasn't happened again, so I have no idea what that was all about. :-P

Nope, I have instead done a serious spring cleaning of our apartment. Very needed, so that felt great. And I had to stand corrected when it came to a detergent. It's commercial sucks. But I must say, Cilit Bang really does work as well as the commercial says. I cleaned off both the ceiling and the walls in the bathroom with that thing, and they bloody shine. O.o So, I stand corrected. Now, if just my summer curtains that I ordered could arrive, I'd be a happy camper.

This friday I had a "candle-party"... Meaning a bunch off people came over here (including mom and her sister) and a work mate (ex-workmate, I guess...) came over and showed off and sold PartyLite stuff. :-) It was AWESOME! So much fun! :-D I got to buy a lot for free, since I was the hostess and my guests bought so much. Free stuff = me happy. :-)

Yesterday spicehobbit came over and we ate the leftover cake (lowcarb-chocolate cake, oh yes...) and watched The Tudors season two. She has both season one and two on DVD, and they are AWESOME! :-D I love that show, I really do. :-)

Another TV-show I have started to watch is Torchwood. Now, I don't know anything about Dr Who, so I came into it blind. It was peting73 that started to collect the series and we are half through season one. It is... very fun, actually. I really like it. British dark humor at its best, I must say. :-) Season two isn't relised yet, but we'll probably get that one to.

All in all things are pretty good right now. Next week will be busy and slow... Try that for size... And I'll continue my search for a job. :-)

I didn't know Sweden has Partylites! I had a neighbor who sold Partylites years ago, I probably still have candle holders packed in a box with kitchen stuff and other things from my apartment. I liked best that the candles didn't stink when I snuffed them, the smoke smelled good and the wax still gave off a scent while it was warm.

Yeah, those candles are really awesome. :-D My mom and aunt are totally hooked on PartyLite stuff. And I am to. :-) I got a friend hooked as well, so... I plan on having another one of those "candle-parties" this autumn, so I can restock my collection of wonderful scented candles. :-)

It would be.... interesting to see you watch the Tudors since you would need to throw everything about history out the window! X-D It ain't historically correct anywhere. ;-) And I do so remember our discussions about Arn... Tudors work the same way. ;-)

I am impressed. :-) I know for one thing they go through history a bit fast, and that the clothes aren't historically correct (even I can see that). But it is just such a fun series, I just don't give a damn. ;-D

But their history is (usually) correct in the sense that the dates and places and people are right, it's the interactions that's... open for interpretation. I think. I really have not seen enough of it to judge accurately. ;-)

Oooh, Torchwood! It's one of my favourites, actually. As long as you don't take it too seriously, it's great fun. Also, you are sooo gonna like the first episode of season two... ;-P

I didn't know it was, but I must say Torchwood is british humor at its best. :-) And ain't the first episode in season two where Captain John Hart shows up? If so, I already know I'll like it. Alot!

Yeah, I found Torchwood by pure chance. Actually, I think it was on tv4 before I had even seen the Doctor Who episodes where Captain Jack appears.

And yes, that's when Captain John Hart appears... Knowing your weakness for a certain actor, I didn't want to spoil the surprise in case you didn't know. ;-P

(Although, since the Captains have a very visible presence on the 'net, I figured you'd know... The pretty boys are everywhere... :-D )

I don't have any Marsters fans (except you) on my f-list, and I knew... so why I felt the need to be mysterious I'll never know... ;-)

I was a bit unclear about the Doctor, it seems. I have seen DW, at least the two first seasons of the new series, and most of the older ones as well. Just not until after I saw TW... Also good, but clearly aimed at a younger audience.

Hopefully, I will someday get to see season 3 and 4 too... whenever the BBC decides to actually air them. For some reason, the BBC channel I get have aired s1 and 2 twice, but not the other ones. :-( Weird.

When looking at the IMDB, it would seem season 3 is still in the works. Not done yet. And season 4 is only a mini-series, or so the rumour tells me. Not sure though.

Now I'm confusing you again... Sorry! I was talking about Doctor Who series 3&4, which most definitely are finished. (IMDB has them recorded as airing between Dec. 2006 and July 2008)

They are on my to-buy list, and by the time I've scraped together enough to buy 2&3, season 4 should be out on dvd too...

I have actually seen most of the old series too. Tv4 sci-fi have been airing two episodes every day mon-fri since they started a year and a half ago. I've seen pretty much everything from the Third Doctor until the end of the series, and bits and pieces of the first two Doctors. They've actually restarted, and are back on the first Doctor now.

I'll probably try and watch the episodes with the Fourth Doctor again, he's my favourite of the old ones. He's pretty much crazy. :-D
