Closing down a chapter of my life...

Just amused myself with changing layout (again...) and updating and changing my profile layout. It was needed, oh yes... :-P

So... I got sacked yesterday. Now. I should feel upset about this, I really should. But I didn't like that place. :-P And it was badly paid to. Now my future is very much a blank slate, and I admit. It is a bit scary. Bit I look foward to it to.

The lady from the union office and the represantative off the union at work came over when I was working yesterday (as we had planned), and we had a short meeting in the unions office, just so they made sure we were still agreed on the next course of action. Meaning, making sure I got the best deal possilbe when they sacked me. Since the company had made it really clear they did not want me there... Well, lets just say I agreed. Alright, they said, wait at your work-place, and we'll go get you before the final decision is made. And so the negotiations between the union and the company began. Me, I continued to work. 15 min later, they called me and told me to get back to the unions little office. I did, and they were very pleased, since the company had agreed on all accounts. Something that surprised me, since the person that were negotiated for the company is a real bitch, cold and false as hell, not giving in easily. So, they went back to the negotiations and I waited. When all was done, they all came to me with all the paperwork for me to fill in. And that was that.

The cold false bitch was all giggle and smily and shock my hand and said she hoped we could meet under better curcomstances... Well... My thoughts then weren't very nice. Along the lines of: burn in hell bitch, were pretty close.

Back to my desk and packing all my stuff down. And walking around saying goodbye to everyone. That hurted a bit. I'll miss them alot, my workmates. So many good people work there. And the company itself is crap. That is sad. Got lots off hugs to. From both my group-bosses that I have had there, wish surprised me a little since I didn't think the last one liked me much. I guess she did. All wished me the best of luck in the future.

Now i have two months period of notice. I don't have to work. And I have no obligation to look for work, since I don't get any money from the unemployment fund.

I was at the employment office today (always fun that. Not). On monday I am going to send in my last applications for the courses at the University here.

Confusing times. Engaged one day, unemployed the other. :-) Oh well. I'll live to tell the tale. ;-)

That is the strangest thing really. I shouldn't feel positive about this. But I do. Weird, uhu? I needed a change in my life, I really did. And I got it.
