Strangly calm...

Yeah...

Was at a meeting with the union yesterday. It was very, very interesting. My contact person there was a really cool and tough older lady. When I told her what kind of education I have, she just locked at me and asked me what the hell I am doing at that company where I can't use all my knowledge?!?! Good question. After much talking here and there, it seems like tomorrow will be my last day at this job. I must say. I don't mind. It is a shitty job at a shitty company, that don't care much for there employees.

This unemployment I am going to look at as a possibility, not a defeat or disaster.

I have already applied for two courses at the University here. One that will make sure my masters I have now that only works nationally will work internationally as well, and a shorter course about litterature and kids. :-)

I feel positive about this. Strangely. I needed a change in my life. And it came and kicked me in the rear.

Dear diary...

Going for an International Masters is a great idea! Not many people have those. <3

[identity profile] kseenaa.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 10:09 am (UTC)(link)
True that. :-) It is a new course, they have at Borås University at BHS.

Digitala tjänster - kultur, information & kommunikation (http://www.hb.se/wps/portal/!ut/p/c1/04_SB8K8xLLM9MSSzPy8xBz9CP0os3hXX49QSydDRwMD10BzAyNjd_cwPx9PFzMTY6B8pFm8n79RqJuJp6GhhZmroYGRmYeJk0-Yp4G7izEB3eEg-_DrB8kb4ACOBhB5XDa4m-OXB7rAzyM_N1W_IDfCINNT1xEA6SGbyQ!!/dl2/d1/L2dJQSEvUUt3QS9ZQnB3LzZfRjRLRFZTNjMwT01SNTAyN0FLSzRNQTA4MTI!/). Sounds serious, don't it? :-P I think it would be something for me, though. :-) And it is a distance course to, and only at half-speed. :-) Means, if I find a job, I can still work! Bloody perfect!

[identity profile] chigrima.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 09:31 am (UTC)(link)
I got a letter from BHS about that one! Sounds perfect. I might consider it myself if I remain unemployed. It sounds really interesting. ^_^

[identity profile] kseenaa.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)
It does, doesn't it? :-) And since it is a distance course, you can still study it with a job. ;-) Just saying... *cough*

[identity profile] chigrima.livejournal.com 2009-04-06 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
XDXD If I ever find myself bored, maybe. I have no CSN-grants left, so it would have to be for fun only. And I'm due for another bouts of A-kassa, so it would have to wait for afterwards. Sadly.

[identity profile] kseenaa.livejournal.com 2009-04-06 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, there is that with CSN. :-P I only have two years left, so we'll see if I get a job, or I'll live off CSN... Time will tell, I guess. :-)

[identity profile] chigrima.livejournal.com 2009-04-10 08:48 am (UTC)(link)
But the new ideas from the Powers That Be is to cut two years of the allotted CSN time. I think you're doing exactly the right thing doing this now. ^_^

Still holding thumbs for that dream job, of course.

[identity profile] kseenaa.livejournal.com 2009-04-13 06:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, really now... Very, very interesting. :-P I didn't know that. So now you can only study four years, yes? That sucks... Well. Heres hoping then!

[identity profile] chigrima.livejournal.com 2009-04-13 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Yep. It's made to improve the situation for students since they will now be motivated to study harder and faster and not lazy around! (I'm not joking).

[identity profile] kseenaa.livejournal.com 2009-04-14 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
They are insane. And thats all there is to it. Really... Yeah, because all that students do is laze about... Right. I must have missed that. *snark*

[identity profile] chigrima.livejournal.com 2009-04-14 02:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh yes, they are.

[identity profile] claudia6913.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 01:07 pm (UTC)(link)
What a wonderful idea! And go you! Definately sounds like you're headed in the right direction. =)

Enjoy your time as a woman of leisure. =)

[identity profile] kseenaa.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 05:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I will enjoy my time. ;-) I have two months fully paid from my shitty job, without having to work. So yeah, those months? I'll enjoy myself, trust me. ;-)

Sounds like a wonderful plan!

[identity profile] kseenaa.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 05:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it is, isn't it? I feel very good about it. :-)

[identity profile] immortal-jedi.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 02:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Always try to look at the positive side of things! Good luck!

[identity profile] kseenaa.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 05:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I am working on exactly that! And at the moment... I seem to be able to.

[identity profile] jans-intentions.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 02:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm happy for you, sweetie. xx

[identity profile] kseenaa.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 05:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you, Jan. :-) Means alot!

sounds like it's been a roller-coaster day.

[identity profile] ruchirahni.livejournal.com 2009-04-01 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)
You know what? The people at that job were all jerks anyway. If you think taking more classes is the way to go then freaking do it. Sounds like the smart thing to me! And an international masters is freaking awesome.

you were way too good for that job.

Re: sounds like it's been a roller-coaster day.

[identity profile] kseenaa.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
More a case of having a couple of roller-coaster weeks, I'd say!

And yeah, I think it is a good idea to update my national masters into an international thing. It will make me more interesting on the market when I look for jobs. :-) And that I haven't lost interest in my subject either, so to speak. It will be fun to start studying. :-)

good for you. :D <3
