Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

I just got home from work, and guess what was waiting for me that had come with the mail? Why, yes.... The Croaky-calender from DeviantArt... :-P So, it got here. It only took 3 bloody months! I still think there customer service STINKS! But I have it here. And it is gorgeous. What else to expect really? It is [livejournal.com profile] croakys art after all. And they have printed it on high quality paper to. Still.... 3 MONTHS?!??

Right. Something fun to round off this day. :-P

[livejournal.com profile] ursulavs LJ is always a pure joy to read. Pure, pur joy. I nearly laughed out loud at work today when reading todays post. Might not have been a good idea! X-D But seriously.... 3 insane woman and one nervous man in a strip-club? Whats not to love? Go read it. Seriously. You'll laugh your ass off!

A couple of days ago a collection of stories about how Will Turner got all his clothes in At Worlds End showed up on the Will-community [livejournal.com profile] turningpirate. All very fun, thoughtful and some even sad. I highly recommend you check these out to. :-)
Will Turner and his clothes...

Right. Now some rpg-posts and WoW before bed!

so i ordered zachs valentines day gift and i ordered it with 2 day shipping, to ensure that it would be here by v-day. its a college address, but packages here get routed to a central mail room. mind you, i have NEVER had a problem with this before, and i order from UPS all the time!!

i get a call this morning from UPS saying my address is incomplete. they leave me a phone number to call them back with, but the message cuts off before theyre finished. NOW THEY'RE SHIPPING IT BACK TO THE WAREHOUSE.

HELLO, i paid for 2 day shipping!! your company has delivered to this address before, what's the problem now?? i have no way to get in touch with UPS and so ive emailed the store i ordered from but theyre not going to answer for a week probably.

i was so frustrated and i knew the only person who would TRULY appreciate this story is you.

I just called customer services and the representative was very nice but he kept telling me that 'my address does look funny'. well what the hell does that mean? ive ordered before and it's always gotten through fine, DESPITE the 'funny' address!!

Oh, I fully understand you! I always get the funny address comment, since I have the swedish letters in my address (å ä ö), I mean, it is not like I can move to make it easier for you to deliver the stuff... I live here! *grumble, grumble*

When you live like that, you don't have an address of your own?

i do, but our mailboxes are tiny so large packages go to a central mail room.

Ah. I see. Thats... troublesome, I can imagine. Have it solved itself yet?

Yeah, the guy at UPS was nice enough. I prefer the central mailroom especially on a campus like this because there's less chance of theft. BUT I STILL DON'T GET IT BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER A PROBLEM BEFORE.
