So the yearly visit to the animal hospital to get the yearly shot was done tonight. Cats were not pleased. Last year was not so much fun, since then they pod all over them selfs. So we had to clean them off.... with water! The horror.... This year however they behaved very well. None of our cats like the car. It is an evil thing, to them. So they mewed very pitiful in the car, and my heart bleed for them. They are my babies, and when they get distressed, so do I. :-P
Go to the animal hospital and got shown a room where the cats could walk around exploring while we waited for the veterinary so they could have there shoots. And we waited... for quite a long time. Was told they had an emergency. They apologized a lot and asked if we could wait some more. No problem to us! The cats were fine exploring the room, so we just sat down and cuddled them. We had to wait for 30 min approximately though... A bit long, but... Emergency is emergency. Cats got there shoots. We were told they were overweight again, but not extremely so. That they looked healthy and fine. (Yay!) All systems go for Skuld and Verdandi for another year. :-) Off to the reception to pay.... No one there. So we waited. A mother and her daughter came crashing through the door, the daughter crying her eyes out... So I guess whatever emergency they had going on... was quite serious... I hope whatever pet was in trouble made it... :-(
So, after a long wait we payed our bill and went home. Again car ride and cats complaining about how HORRIBLE it is to ride in a car, OMG! We have, however come to to conclusion that if they are in one kitty-cage when traveling they egg each other on, and they get even more stressed when going in a car. This time they had one kitty-cage each. I am taking a wild guess and say that is one of the reasons all went so much better this year. :-)
Today I also had my day off... Like I will every singly Friday from now on. Bliss I tell you... BLISS! :-D I haven't done anything. I was supposed to do some ironing... That didn't happen. X-D I lazed about in the apartment and went grocery shopping instead. :-) Been a great day.

Date: 2009-01-17 05:45 am (UTC)Anywho, I came here to tell you I loved the comment you made on Miz Mary's story--"lots of women, only one lady." That was perfect! I like the idea that Jack and him precious Pearl are the ones! Actually wrote my first drabble about their love. Quite a clever turn with that one phrase, warms my heart. Thank you for reading and Happy New Year.
