This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

As [livejournal.com profile] chigrima said, I always try to find the silver lining in everything. :-) It is just in me to do that. And I must say, even though the fact that I will shortly be a telemarketer makes me kinda sick to my stomach, other things with this department is quite good. (Phone-sales-person is not correct, I just figured out... Thanx gawd for Tyda.Se.)

On Monday I'll get my schedule for my work hours. And I'll have plenty say in how I'll work during the weeks. That I think is great. I'll never work weekends again, and I'll always have Fridays off. That I think is bloody awesome, even! I'll still be on the same floor of the house as the hotel-booking-department. That is great! I'll still be able to meet my work-mates. Shared lunches FTW! The computer-program we'll use is very easy to use as well, so it didn't take long to figure it out. Wonderful!

So, even though selling things on the phone is something I hate to have to do, I still say there are good things with this move. Talked to some of my old workmates at the hotel-booking-department today. And since we left, who were transferred, all of a sudden, people have started to call to book hotel-rooms again! So now they have A LOT to do all of a sudden! *grin* I knew the lazy pace with no calls would end after all the holidays were over... I knew it! They had also gotten new schedules for there work hours. Apparently they suck worse then before. More weekends. I do not envy that!

Silver-lining. :-) Yep.

Tomorrow mom is coming over. Going to be great! I haven't taken away any Christmas-stuff yet and she wanted to come over and see it and my Christmas-curtains. (I usually leave the Christmas-stuff up until the end off January/beginning of February and the curtains might stay a bit longer still.)

Have seen an interesting movement in my F-list lately to.... Everyone is backing up there LJ's 'cause ZOMG! LJ had to kick some of there staff! Oh noes! I mean, of course they had to. It is an economical crisis going on. It effects everyone. I highly doubt that would make LJ roll over and die, though. Just saying.

If you feel the need to back up your LJ I recommend using LJBook.Com to turn your LJ into a PDF-file, comments and pictures, the works (not user icons though). If you want to, you can then print it at LuLu.Com. I have been planning on doing this for a long time. For the lol's. :-)

Over and out. :-)

I agree with Chi. And why not; it´s much better to be positive than negative, right? I´m glad to hear that your new job seems to have some benefits. Besides, they must cut you some slack the first days, I hope? *crosses fingers*

I plan to turn my Sunnifwa LJ into a book, so I can finally delete it. Unfortunately you can only choose one language at LJBook, and that LJ is bilingual. Meh.

Say "hi" to Mom from me, will ya?! *smiles*

Yeah, well. :-) Even though I swear and curse about it all, there are positive things about it. Three days off every week? Bliss, I tell ya'! And yes, slack will be cut the first days. We won't have to start call people at first, in fact we will only listen in when other telemarketers call the first days. So we get a feel for how everything works. We got it in theory now. Time for some practice.
