This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

So, I was at Malmö checking out hotels Tuesday and Wednesday. Just so I know what the heck I am talking about when on the phone. People I meet that showed us around in the different hotels were awesome. Really friendly. And the food was top-notch that we got to. So no problems there. But my traveling companions... Good lord! *face-palm* Especially one of them, and the other three followed him like lost lambs. To the slaughter. He constantly interrupted everyone else, wanted to be center of attention all the time, and had a tantrum of some sort when we, me and he, had a discussion about LowCarbHighFat-food. You should not discuss that with me. I know my shit. And when he couldn't win and wasn't allowed to interrupt me, he threw a tantrum and left the room.... Sure he is younger then me, but not with that much. After that I didn't say a word the rest of the trip, except when I was asked something. So yeah, I have had more fun.

The Casino in Malmö was neat though... No, I didn't spend that much. I played a little, lost it all of course. Only 300sek (37 USD approximately). It was fun to walk around there though.

So, instead of talking to my traveling companions, I read. Twilight. My fucking GAWD!!! This is a bad book. BAD!

Before I continue, if you are a fan of Twilight, please understand this is only the way I see it. That don't mean I can't talk to you still. I'll just skip your posts about Twilight.

Anyway. SMeyers is an idiot. Or at least she thinks her readers are idiots. There is no plot in the first half of the book. I have read about 180 pages now. Approximately. And now she has given us a plot. After half the book. Hmm... So, what happened in the first half of the book? Well, we got the meet Bella (who really needs to get a Doc appointment since she must have a serious illness considering she is constantly falling over...) and Edward (who is so perfect. So perfect, SMeyers describes how perfect he is every time she mentions him. And she mentions him constantly. It is getting old... fast.) And also Charlie, Bella's father. Who so far is the only decent character in the book. I kinda like him. To bad Bella treats him like an idiot. Also, the people in the city Forks, where everything takes place, must be idiots. Edward, and his family full of vamps, is trying to blend in. News flash. They SUCK AT IT!!!! *groan* They might just wear a sign on there forehead saying they are vampires. Oh, and the neat Indians that Bella meets, I kinda liked. Until one of them told us exactly how the story will end. Look, SMeyers, not everyone is idiots like you. You don't have to hit them over the head with the plot. Seriously. *shakes head* Not to mention all the time-jumps. I can't even describe those, so I won't.

And to think it was more fun to read this, then talk to my traveling companions. That says a lot about my trip... *shakes head*

Talked to mom a bit today to. She sounded OK and all, but dropped a heavy bomb.

She got sacked from her job... o.O

....

She is 55 years old, been working in the same old folks home since beginning of the 1980's. She is tough my mom, and wants the elderly to do whatever they can do by them selfs instead of the people working there doing everything for them. It is good for the elderly to, since it keeps there bodies going, ya' know. But now, a couple of elders and there relatives have complained that mom is being nasty/bitchy with them. She isn't. Tough, yes, but not evil. And her work-mates knows this. Except some of the newer ones, who also complained with mom. So now she is sacked. She got a pretty good deal, and will be fine for quite a long time, but I mean... 55 years old. It ain't easy finding a new job then. She is going to try to get a job at the hospital where her sister, my aunt, works. Both are assistant nurses. That would be awesome. I really hope it will be OK for her. I really, really do...

So, anyone who has ever meet my tough mom... Keep her in your minds nowadays, eh? She is going through some tough times. :-(

As you can imagine my mind is all over the place at the moment. Gladly, I have managed to buy nearly all my Christmas gifts already. Long live online-shopping I say!

She got sacked. But she got one year salary out of the deal. Still. Sucks. :-( Especially in that age. Not easy getting a new job then.

No, and especially not if you have been fired. ;-; I'm really holding my thumbs for her.
