Warning: Mentally insane vampire. Blood-play, mind-games, depression, extreme violence, depressive sex etc... It will get worse as we go along...

Chapter 4: Good times
(Dealing with the LARP at 27th of September 2008)
Two weeks has gone by and the Silence is still a problem. It worries me. A Kindred could probably hold his or her own against whatever the Silence throws at us, but I am worried. About us. About Rose. She is not as strong as the other Kindreds...
Anyway.
There has been a lot of music played here in our home. The silence in Her head is still there, and Rose tries to fill it up with music. Me and Kim have been ordered to gather music these days, and so we have. All kinds of music, but mostly jazz and classical music. Joy still lives here, so I guess that is the reason for the jazz. She loves jazz, was a jazz singer in Paris, France when Rose found her, I think. At least that’s what she's been telling us. Rose is worried still about Joy, that she doesn't sleep well during the day. Rose Herself has always been a light sleeper, but now it is worse. We can hear Her move around in Her room during the day sometimes when She can't sleep. It is horrible. I so wish I could help Her more. Sometimes She takes me to play with in Her tearoom... It helps Her to sleep. It makes me feel useful.
When Rose came home from the regular social gathering this Sunday morning She was very pleased. Giddy as a child She laughed and danced with us in the kitchen. Told Kim to go outand buy some party hats and drinks. Apparently when She came to the social gathering all the Primogen wanted to talk to Her. They were in a meeting all of them when She arrived. So, She had to answer their questions about how She was going to do the work as a Chief-harpy. She must have answered well, since later in the evening they voted and actually choose Her to be the Chief-harpy! I am so, so happy for Her. To have some of the Primogens support, She had to support them too. So, now She'll pick out lesser harpies from their clans, that will work with Her. At least from the clans that wasn't sure about wether She would do the job well or not... In doing so She'll make sure She'll continue to have there support. Clever. I am very impressed by Rose, how She can keep it all in Her mind, who to be friendly with, and who to work against... Oh, She got enemies too. There are many who think She doesn't fit to be a Chief-Harpy simply for being a Malkavian. Many who thinks She is insane.
I don't find Her insane. Not at all. She is very wise. Knows more, sees more. She is wonderful.
When Kim came back with the party-hats She told me and Bosse to fix up the living room so we could dance a bit and play some music. Joy was there too, with her ghouls, and was laughing and was happy for her mother to. The happy and giddy Rose was rubbing off, so we all ended up laughing and dancing in the living room. I was so happy. Even Bosse let loose a bit, dancing with both me and Rose. He and Kim took turns, while Joy danced with her ghouls. Kim fixed us drinks he had picked up while out on the clubs in town, and we all ended up being a bit giggly. When the sun started to show in the horizon, Rose and Joy went to rest, but told us to continue having fun!
And we did. We all ended up in a pile on floor, just... relaxing and finally falling asleep. The first one to leave the pile of bodies on the floor was Bosse. Of course. No rest in that man, I tell you. He went up to his room, where he has his bed, computer fax and all the things one might need when running a company. I helped him fix all that technology. Considering that man is 129 years old, he figured them out quite quickly. Either that or I am a good teacher. Even though Bosse is the one that runs Borås Weaving Mill, he is more working from the shadows so no one will recognice him considering his age. I think maybe the currant VP meets him now and then, but the real power on that company, that’s Bosse. Or Rose, since She is our Mistress.
There are a lot more companies than one might think that is run in this manner. The clan Ventrue is the clan most famous for dealing in the financial world, or so Bosse told me. They are all very clever with it and runs most of the city, through there ghouls. Not only companies, but law firms, police-stations, local governments... most things in a city. Boggles my mind. And when I didn't know about this world... This... world of darkness, I couldn't see. Nothing. None of it. They are very good at pulling strings, all of the Kindred.
The leader of the city, The Prince is of this clan, the Ventrues. His right hand, however is not. Mr Gren is of the clan Toreador, the artists. They have a love for the fine and beautiful things. He is, however a very clever man, Mr Gren. Rose had a meeting with Mr Gren not that many days ago. Around the same time as the regular social gathering. Apparently She plans to release Joy. So far she has been under Rose supervision, not having any power herself. But when Rose has officially given her her freedom, she can do what she likes, within the rules of Kindred society, of course. She was embraced 16 years ago... Rose has told us, that Her Daddy, didn't release her until after 25 years... But She feels that Joy has learned all the lessons she needs to know to be able to survive among the Kindred on her own. Before She can release her though, She has to ask the Leaders of the city. So, who better then to ask Mr Green, the right hand of the Prince? She did and got his blessing. He too, finds Joy to be a very clever young Kindred.
It is a big thing, the release of a childe, apparently. And Rose and Joy is preparing a big feast to celebrate the whole thing.
It is going to be a grand thing, I am sure. Must be, since Rose is planning it. Well, She and Joy. Us, the ghouls has had a lot to do lately with this, since we are the ones that does the heavy work. Rose has another haven or home, in one of the big parks in the city. A beautiful home. Has a big rose garden outside it. Rose love it. A huge house. Since none of us live there, and she only uses the house for social gatherings and such, we needed to clean the whole thing out first. Me and Kim did that. It was spotless. And Rose gave us praise when She saw it. Oh, it felt wonderful. Decorating and all done, now we can only wait for the big party to happen. I even got an assignment! I, and only I, will be at the party helping Rose and Joy! I can’t wait, I am so proud. It will be on me to take care of the Tea-salon that Rose will have in one of the rooms. I am a bit nervous meeting all these powerful Kindreds that Rose and Joy has talked about… But I am sure I will be fine. She will be there. Then everything will be fine.

Chapter 4: Good times

We can hear Her move around in Her room during the day sometimes when She can't sleep. It is horrible. I so wish I could help Her more. Sometimes She takes me to play with in Her tearoom... It helps Her to sleep. It makes me feel useful.
