Had SUCH a good day yesterday... Had our little outing with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
peting73s cousin, and it was AWESOME! Really really awesome... :-)
At first I thoughtpeting73 was going to be hungover since Friday he'd hung out with his friends and drank a lot of beer... But apparently he'd been drinking smart... (a lot of beer but over plenty hours...), so no hangover. Just a bit tired as it were. I fleed to spicehobbit to let them have their beer-drinking in peace. :-) peting73's friends are awesome though, so it wasn't like I was hunted out of the house... but when they start drunk discussions about the rules for Trivial Pursuit... Then I am out. X-D
Anyway, so... Saturday. :-) She came over at a set time (remember, she loves to plan things) and then we headed out to the lovely lovely green area/park that is in this city. It is also a really nice bathing area, since it is by a lake with a lovely sandy little beach. :-) Sun was shining and it was just all wonderful.
peting73s cousin wanted to have lunch with us there since they have this nice little restaruant/cafe or whatever you wanna call it. So we went there and had lunch and then we sat outside in the sun talking and eating ice-cream for dessert. :-) Was glorious!
Of coursepeting73's cousin was all talking about Nerd Jr and how I was doing and how much we'd planned and will I celebrate my birthday and all that... My birthday is pretty soon and quite close to Nerd Jr's birth, so... I'll take a slow easy birthday this year. :-) Of course peting73s cousin wanted to plan for that to, since she wanted to help, but we put some brakes on that. ;-) She means well, she really does, but sometimes she can be a bit much. It is easy to stop her though when her planning go haywire and I have yet to see her upset about it. :-)
Right, so once we'd enjoyed the summer-weather and eaten our ice-cream, we left that place and took another road home that I'd never driven before! It was so much fun! A small small crooked road through the woods with all these wonderful houses here and there! :-D Was awesome!
And I do believe we managed to easepeting73's cousins mind some what. :-) She was so worried about Nerd Jr ending up like her and that we'd not love her/him as much then etc, etc, etc... But I think we managed to ease her mind about that at least. :-) I am very glad for that!
So all in all, what with this lazy Sunday, I'd say this weekend has been made of win!
