Oh what a fucking Monday... *groan*
Yesterday when me and
peting73 hang out here at home, I started feeling slightly uncomfortable on the left side of my belly... I didn't think much of it. I know I have a ton of scars and shit inside that stretch and move with the preganancy. Thing is... It got worse... and worse... So I went to bed early hoping to sleep it off...
HA HA HA! No. I didn't. Apparently I am so zoned into our cats I pushed Verdandi of the bed during the night, in fear she would walk on my belly. It woke
peting73 up a few times, who tried to stop the cat from cuddling with my achy belly knowing I was in pain. So none of us got much sleep last night...
And then it was early morning for us to, since we had an appointment at 8am with our nurse/midwife. I am not ashamed to say I almost collapsed in the shower this morning... My legs were shaking and my belly was in some serious pain. Ugh. The hot water helped some, but not nearly enough.
Once at the nurse/midwife's office, she just looked at me and then fixed an appointment with a Doc at the deliviery ward where they work with pregnant women as well. So off we went! Slowly, mind. Quick movements when you are in pain = not fun.
We got there and didn't have to wait very long before the Doc got to us and checked us up using ultrasound. So we got a peek at Nerd Jr to, who moves around, heart beating and everything. Nothing wrong with Nerd Jr, thankfully! :-)
What DID give me pain though was the myoma I have on my uterus. :-/ I know it is there and I know it is stretching with my scars, but the pain of yesterday and today was really insane. Apparently the myoma feeds a little of the uterus as well, so it is growing a bit and hence can cause pain. Oh joy. *head-desk* GAH!
The Doc was wonderful though, and gave me stronger painkillers that are safe both for me AND for Nerd Jr. They don't take the pain away but they do take the edge off. It still hurts to walk around to long though, and the most comfortable position is flat on my back. :-P
Oh yeah, I am still in pain I might add, even if it is not as bad as it was this morning. And there is no telling if this will stick or if it'll come and go or if the pain will disappear.
Fun times ahead, in other words. Dammit. *sigh*
Note: No horror-stories about various pregnancies, please! :-P Not what I need currently. Thanx for understanding!
