I have NO IDEA WHY, but I've had these guys on my head all day... I even dreamed about them when taking a nap today. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT????

Original Addams Family... )

You RANG, Sir...?

*lol* I don't know... I've been weird all day. Maybe that's why the weirdness of the Addams family appeals to me? *shrug*

But I did find out about this episode from Tumblr today. Now, I've seen I think all episodes on one point or another. My mom loved this series when she was a kid, so we always saw it when it had reruns on TV. But I guess not, since I can't remember this episode. And it sure has one IMPORTANT message in the end. Who knew they'd get that in, during such a cheesy awesomely macabre and cute TV-show during the 1960's? :-D

It's about a beatnick (biker-boy, sorta) who ends up at the Addams family on the run from his strict father. And unlike the rest of society, the Addams family accepts him for who he is.... Really cute and a reminder that everyone should accept anyone for who they are. :-) If you got a bit to spare, I do recommend watching it. :-)

And isn't that what we all want? For anyone to be accepted for who they are? :-) I thought it was a wonderfully fun and cute episode to watch. :-)

Oh, and on that same note, I found this today. Also on Tumblr, actually. One of those places I'd love to explore, even if I'd probably be slightly freaked out to. *lol* :-D Do check out them photos! You could make a horror-movie there!
Photos from an abandoned doll-factory...

We had quite a busy weekend here. :-P It was good busy, but busy none the less. And it stopped us from finishing the room we are redoing. :-P Not very funny, no.

ANYWAY! On Friday, [livejournal.com profile] peting73 was invited to his workmates for beer and... I don't know? Gossip? What do guys do when they sit down and drink crazy amounts of beer? Anyway, I was the designated driver, so I drove [livejournal.com profile] peting73 and a friend of his to the beer-party and home. They were so cute when I picked them up at around 4am! *lol* Fun times were had by all, I am sure since I spent the night reading fanfics and playing World of Warcraft. :-)

Saturday was LARP-day. Plus we were pretty beat after the long night before. :-) But LARP-day none the less. My character doesn't have that much to do at the moment, so... *shrug* I did have fun OOC though! :-D I sat and talked a lot with my friends and had a generally good time all around. We couldn't stay that long alas, since we had an early morning to look forward to, but it was still fun. :-)

Also, my LARP-friends are REALLY slow, dammit! *head-desk*

Moving on.

Sunday we went to visit first mom and then my brother. Since we planned to be at moms around 12 midday, we had to leave at around 10am the latest, so we had to get up quite early to get ready. Well, early for being a Sunday. :-P Don't judge. :-)

It was really fun to meet them all though. :-) We first went to moms and had dinner and talked and stuff. Then off to my brothers to celebrate his daughter who had her 5th birthday. It was really fun! She got a Lundby doll house from mom and furniture and a family for the house from us. :-) It looked really neat (once my brother had put it together after much swearing...) and little Tilda was very, very happy with it, so SUCCESS! :-D

Tilda was really cuddly with me that day, I have no idea why... She usually clings to her parents (my brother and wife) or her brother or grandmother (mom that is), but this time she clung to me. Wanted me to play with her and I don't even know what. So I did. :-) Was great fun!

Also, my brother rules! He (+ awesome wife) helped us fix a lot of stuff that me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 needs (since they didn't need it anymore), so awesome, awesome all around! We didn't get home until around 10-11pm or so. :-P But it was worth it. :-)
