Stressful day at the library. Classical roleplaying. And that meme...

OMG! What a day! :-P Worked a full day at the library today, and holy shit... It was one of those days, people. With a shit-load to do, what with sending away letters to people telling them there books had arrived, sending admonitory letters to those that hadn't returned there books... Receiving books from other libraries... sending books to other libraries... answering the phone... answering emails... help kids find books... help little old ladies find books... OMG! And everything at the same time, or at least thats what it felt like.... And then the son of my second cousin started to spamm me with texts... where it said he wanted me to call because it was important. Finally he texted me saying his WoW account had been hacked! o.O So I called peting73, told him to call the boy and help him. He did, and they managed to restore the gear for his characters, gladly... I was also asked to close the library, which gave me an extra hour, but also made me late for dinner... And of course 5 min before I was to close a family came in to return books and borrow books... *face-palm* Phew... So this was a busy day indeed. :-P

Yesterday evening was a lot of fun though! We had our first pen-paper roleplaying session with the new roleplaying group yesterday! T, a LARP-friend was the GM and he'd invited O, _devilcandy_, peting73 and me to play some Vampires: Dark Ages. :-D Never done that, so I was all for it! The game took place 970 in what was to be England. ;-) The stronghold were our characters lived were called Haven, but it was what in Real Life is called King's Lynn. We were all humans, alive and well, before the story started. My character, Kaja Storåda, was a viking decedent (we all were) married to the oldest man living there, the blacksmith aged 55. My character was only 21. They have 4 kids... X-D Yeah, they married young in that day and age. :-P

Anyway, the leader of the stronghold brought all four of them on a journey to a castle... were four vampires found them, and embraced them. Turned them into vampires. After getting a quick course in how to be a vampire (hunting, the sun, how to travel etc...), they are now left to deal with how to survive as a vampire in medieval England... and try to take over the stronghold and make it evolve into a thriving city... since that is what there Sires/makers wants them to do.

Plot thickens. :-P Gonna be great fun this! I have done some roleplaying with _devilcandy_ before, and A LOT with peting73 (he is usually the GM), but never with T and O. I was pleasantly surprised. :-)

Well, gawd dammit!

And this day started so nicely to... Well, that soon passed. I got a text from the employment office yesterday that I had an appointment today, but it said no time or anything. Weird, but I figured I'd go down anyway. Just when I was about to, my contact there called saying we had decided that I should report in this week. Well, darn. I had missed making a note of that. Anyway, we talked and yeah... I have nearly no days left to get money for through the unemployment fund. Meaning, I have to live on whatever I can make from those few hours I work at the libraries around here, with no hope of any other financial help at all. Sure, I could just kick the bucket and give up my dream of actually having a position as a librarian. My fucking profession, you know... And just take a shitty job again... Because that went sooo well the last time... Or not. Anyway, I could get 8 more days from the unemployment fund if I turned down work... Yeah. You read that right. Bureaucracy rules when your unemployed are so much fun. I had to call back and forth between my contact (who is quite an awesome man, but have to follow the rules) and the unemployment fund all morning.

Yeah. That just stressed me up a whole lot and put a huge damper on my mood. :-/ It feels like... Just when things are starting to go my way, something is there to kick me down, reminding me that your really not worth shit. Thank gawd for peting73 or I would have just crawled into a corner and cried. He calmed me down though. Saying, at least you'll have a small income, and we'll be fine living on his. I seriously wouldn't know what to do without him. It'll be tough times, for sure. No trips to see friends in other cities (sorry, girls!), or anything extravagant (apart from what we've already planned and payed for), but yeah... We'll make it work. *sigh*

Day 20- Favorite of Bill’s hairstyles

Well, he was cute as a lil kid, what with trying to look tough with eyeliner and hair standing all over the place... The emo-fringe wasn't bad either from what I have seen... He looked like a lil hedgehog with a bad hair-day. The lionsmane, had no problem with that one either. It was cool. The dreads, odd, but cool. Although he looked a bit to much like a girl with those, according to me. Still cool though. The mohawk, made me go WTH! when I first saw it, but it grew on me. The Elvis-do he has now is also one of those WTH! reactions, but you know what? I actually like that one to. But... in the end, I have to say...

The Elvis-do. You know why? Because he actually looks like a young man in that... Like his age. Sure, with makeup and the whole thing, but still. :-) So yeah. The Elvis-do it is. ;-)
