I have found another online game, a MMORPG just like World of Warcraft. Runes of Magic. It is very very much like World of Warcraft. The graphic is almost as nice, the game mechanics is so alike, I could play it unhindered directly. Only two differences are that while there is a ton of races to choose from in World of Warcraft, here it is only two: humans and elfs. And while World of Warcraft has a very cartoony feel to it, Runes of Magic has very much a manga/anime feel to it. So, they are very alike, but different to. A breath of fresh air in my gaming life. :-) And best of all? It is free to play. Don't cost anything to download or play. Sure, you can buy advantages and bling to your character, but to just play and explore the world? Totally free. :-) Win, says I.
At my trainee work though, I did my last day as a trainee at the smaller library today. I had bought a gorgeous orchid that I gave them with a thank you card, because really... They have given me a chance of a life-time... And even if they hadn't offered me a part-time job, they have been beyond nice towards me and I have had such a blast there at that tiny library they deserve it and so much more. I also had
peting73 bake his epic caloric punch cake yesterday. Two of them, in fact. A small and a bigger one. The small I took with me to the small library, and some whipped cream to serve with it (since I think it tastes the best that way). We where three librarians eating it. We almost finished it off... o.O And I can tell you one thing, I wasn't the one constantly munching on it that day... That was my boss. X-D Yeah, it is insanely good. ;-) They firmly told me I had to give lots and lots of praise to
peting73 for making it. And of course, they asked for the recipe, but since that is a mystery to me to, I couldn't give it to them. :-P
And even though the kids that visited the library when it was opened this afternoon was really a ton of brats not behaving at all (geez, when is it Ok to run screaming through a library? or to swear like a sailor at the computer screen... when your only 11...?). It was still a good day. :-) I managed to fix up a ton of new books that the behaving kids were ecstatic about, and the "worst kid at school" was an absolute angel today who I got to help find a cookery-book, since he wanted to learn how to make cakes. :-)
Tomorrow, my last day at the bigger library. I hope I'll run into awesomeness there to. :-) And yes, I have an orchid for that library to. And more of that epic cake of course. ;-)
