This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

You know... Sometimes I feel really old. In two days time even. One thing made me laugh at what a silly old woman I am. And the other just made groan and wish people could just grow the fuck up...

Lets start with the bad one, shall we?

Well. You know I am the secretary at the board of the LARP society? Well. Being a member off the board means you have to do stuff for the society. On your spare time. Right? Right. Some people apparently don't realize that LARPers to have a life and jobs to take care off... ANYWAY! When I was in the kitchen making a cake, I hear [livejournal.com profile] peting73 start to swear in the computer room... Apparently someone from the place where the LARP rent rooms to play in had tried to get a hold off the board today. During business hours. When we all were either at work or at school. (He didn't leave a message on our answering machine or call our mobile-numbers that we clearly give in the message in the machine...) Giving up he had finally found another member off the LARP, telling him a lot of complaints about the LARP and telling him he don't want our president as a contact anymore, not giving a reason. He then continued to post this information on a public board where all LARP members can read. Phrasing it such that it read like our president sucks. Then all hell broke lose. And me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 had to spend some time calling around first to see if the complaints the society got was justified (one where, the rest not so much). Then I called our president, who also is a good friend off both me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 asking him if he was OK. He was so pissed off he could hardly see straight. Then I called the guy posting and gave him a piece of both mine and [livejournal.com profile] peting73s mind, how not so very clever that move was... He apologized and said hadn't meant to phrase it as such. Bad luck, bub. You already did. So now on Monday I have to call the person taking care off the rooms we rent and clear out this fucking mess. Then me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 will be the contacts after that. Maybe they'll be happier with us, since we are quite a bit older then the others in the LARP-society...?

Seriously... Grow the fuck up! *groan*

And then to the fun "lets-show-how-old-KSena-is..."

To save a bit at least on our phone bills me and [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit have taken to chatting on MSN instead. ;-) Trust me, when we get going on the phone, we can talk for hoooouuuurs... X-D Anyway, she told me the other day she'd been out shopping at a music store in town. Quite a few in line, and when [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit was done and getting her things together, the next in line, a really young girl no older then 12, asked the guy at the desk if they had any Tokio Hotel albums... Naturally she told me this and telling me I was in good company...

X-D

Right. Were is my cane and walking frame? I have kids asses to kick!

Black glasses...
Oh gawd. I have done so much laundry today it ain't even funny. We can FINALLY access our laundry-room now. It just took them two bloody months to finish renovating it. :-P It was supposed to only take one month. I R not amused. But now my epic pile off laundry from doom is done. Thank gawd. Tomorrow I'll grab the iron and watch the Chess-DVD I borrowed from [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit and do some serious ironing as well. And digg out those advent candle holders, stars and what not. It is that time off year again. ;-)

[livejournal.com profile] demon_kyo really like meme's, don't she? ;-) Well, she had another fun one in her LJ the other day, and I decided to join in. Your free to do that as well, if you feel like it. :-)

Words meme
  • Ask and I will give you five words that remind me of you.

  • Then post them in your LJ and explain what they mean to you.

Well, she gave me these words:

Sweden

My country. My home. :-) I do like visiting other countries, but with the words off Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, there is no place like home. :-) I like our long, long colourful history (even if it does have some really, really dark spots during WWII...). I like our varying nature from the warm south with long summers and short winters to the cold north with the really short summers and long winters (and the sun never raising during winter or setting during the summer). I like the farm-land. I like the woods. I like the cities. :-) I like the fact that people from other countries think we are a cold and distanced people when in fact we are just a little reserved. ;-) Don't be afraid to start talking to a swede! Of course there are things I don't like about Sweden to. Like the Jante Law... Oh, gawd do I hate that one. But overall, the good outweighs the bad. :-)

Peting73

My one true love. :-) Yeah, that sounds kinda cliche, don't it? But it is true. We were friends quite some time before it became us. We have both been involved in the Student Union Pub and the Student Union Politics here at the University in town. First time I meet him, he actually scared me. When he got his student-overall on, he's got quite the dominating presence... Anyway, I soon found out he was a very nice guy underneath that and together with Kiltfan they were the two to arrange the best parties and dinners at the Student Union Pub. Also, to figure out the more kinky pop quizzes.... *cough* The gang of Sexmasters and Ex-Sexmasters and friends off the same that formed around them was one hell off a group of people and we had a lot off fun together and helped each other with school-stuff. :-) So, we were friends for quite some time. One evening [livejournal.com profile] peting73 and his friend Cola had decided to drink them selfs into a stupor or close to it. (They are both quite big men that could take there alcohol, so... yeah.) Lets just say they were both INSANELY wasted. [livejournal.com profile] peting73 always walk home after a night off drinking (30min walk). But this night he was so drunk he didn't want to. He knew I lived close by, so he started nagging me about that he wanted to sleep in my bed (since I was almost a neighbor to the Student Union Pub). X-D Me, I was going oh hell no the entire evening. So, the pub closed down, some off us helped the staff clean up since well.... if you have once worked behind the bar in the Student Union Pub you know it is hell to clean the place. Afterwards we all hung out outside talking. And when I was about to leave, [livejournal.com profile] peting73 grabbed me, pushed me up against the wall, gave me one of those kisses that you feel all over your body and told me he wanted to sleep in my bed.... o.O Well. When I had gathered my wits, I told him no, since... well, he was crazy drunk. Cola on the other looked like a cat with the biggest rat in town. I had never seen him so pleased (and haven't since). It ended up with [livejournal.com profile] peting73 walking/staggering home, hitting his nose on a table so badly he got a scar (still there), me walking home being crazy horny, and Cola the day after working his ass off over ICQ to get me to visit [livejournal.com profile] peting73 to watch a movie (he had apparently been a little interested in me before this and told Cola so...). It worked. And the rest as they say, is history... ;-) Now I can't see my life without him. :-)

Cats

Same thing as with [livejournal.com profile] peting73 actually. I can't live without them. :-) I have lived with cats my entire life. No wait. Now I am lying. From the age off six and then there were four or five years when I lived on my own here in town that I didn't have cats. But the rest off my life, yeah. I have lived with cats. Cats are just awesome. They can be ditzy idiotic and funny. And at the same time they can be graceful, majestic and gorgeous. :-) They have a will off there own, oh hell yes. But dammit, they all have such a personality. So far I have lived with five cats. 3 off them are dead, Pyret, Ida and Pelle. The current black beauties I live with are Verdandi and Skuld. :-) All off them different. All off them wonderful. All off them have put a mark on my life. And all off them have snatched a piece off my heart. Gladly [livejournal.com profile] peting73 is a cat-lover to (he has grown up with both cats and a dog), so it wasn't hard to talk him into the fact we needed cats once I moved in. ;-) My mom is a crazy cat lady as well, as is [livejournal.com profile] peting73s mom. I think I'll be living with cats my entire life. I can't see it any other way. :-)

Library

My sanctuary and, hopefully, future work-place. ;-) When I was in school, I was badly bullied. But there was one place where I could be at peace. The library. :-) And I befriended a really awesome librarian there that I really really liked. She was not like the other librarians at said library. Crazy stockings, fun glasses and wild hair and wild personality. :-) So, when I didn't make it to the Police Academy (can't have glasses as a police officer can you?) I decided to become a librarian instead. :-) I now have the education, but not the job. Yet. ;-) I am working on it.

LARPing

Ah. Yes. ;-) I blame [livejournal.com profile] kaijn. No seriously. This is his fault. As well. *laugh* When I moved here to this city, I didn't know a soul. But I got to know [livejournal.com profile] kaijn during those first weeks off school. We both got involved with the Student Union Pub. He told me about LARPing, since he was doing that in his home-town and also told me he knew a couple off LARPers in this city... Me, I had always been curious about LARPing, but in my tiny home town there was nothing like it (that I knew off). [livejournal.com profile] kaijn then promptly talked me into going to try it. I did. I was hooked after the first night. *laugh* I have now been involved with this vampire-LARP since 2001. The last five years or so I have been in the board to. :-) The constant secretary. *laugh* I doubt I'll stop doing this. It just to much fun, and I have gotten so many, many good friends. No one cares if your young or old. The youngest girl is 16 and the oldest one is me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 (yes, I dragged him into it to...) with our 30+ years. :-)

Lady and the Tramp...
