Been a pretty good day today. Slow at the library, calm and nice. Unlike yesterday when all was crazy and what could go wrong, went wrong. Yeah. Not so much fun, no. This afternoon I was off to a lecture about kids books to. That was quite interesting, I must say. And within working hours to. Win! And afterwards, I even got some shopping done. Couldn't have been a better day, really. Well, I could have been actually paid right for what I do, but... You can't have it all, I guess. :-P
Oh, Monday we had another Deadlands rpg-session, by the way! Talutha Nita ftw! I got a lot of kudos for how I roleplay her alcoholism. She is Sioux indian that can't function without alcohol and can't talk proper English. Even my fellow players couldn't understand me properly! Good thing there are a few characters that know the Sioux language so she has someone to talk to. Also, apparently zombies aren't the only problem about. The US government (in game) apparently transports giant hymenopterans on a train. Said train crashes (Talutah Nita's horse, Zonta, gets killed in the crash) and the hymenopterans gets out ... who lay eggs in dead bodies.... Hmm... At least now the rag-tag team has a contact with in said government played by a new player. Woot! A stuffy Englishman. A a real snob. Strangely Talutha Nita, the huge drunk Sioux and her friend the trapper got along the best with him... Hmm... Might be that he talks Sioux and listened to what she was saying. (An English snob talking Sioux? Yeah... strange...) Was quite awesome a gaming session, I must say! Talutha Nita got her blood lust on and basically slaughtered the hymenopteran with a Bowie knife, while the rest off the crew shot it (trying not to hit Talutha Nita in the process...). To bad the blood was slightly poisonous, otherwise she would have used it for warpaint in her face. Darn. Next monster she kills, I tell you... Next one... Also she needs a scalp in her belt. What kind of bloodthirsty drunk huge sioux don't have a scalp in her belt? Fail. :-D Must do something about this as soon as someone pisser her off. :-P
