Back to business as usual. :-) Valentines was spent discussing politics in the car to mom (damn I have one smart man!) and then eating way to much food at moms (she is way to good at making nice food). Didn't get any gifts from
peting73, but that is fine, really, since we decided to go visit mom instead. A gift in and off itself, that. (Even though they like each other very well to, and work together to tease me...)
Day after Valentines, Sunday, we went to my aunts since my cousin had her 23d birthday! o.O Dammit, I am old. :-P (And more unhealthy food...) Was awesome! Meet my brother which is always great. The insanest farm-hand there is! X-D I love him though, the goof-ball that he is. His fiancée was really heavy now! 8 months pregnant. I asked her if she had any guess to what she carries. She thought it was a girl in there... Me, I am hoping for a boy! Since me, being a big sis with a little brother you know, I'd say it would be awesome if they kept with tradition! :-D Was also fun to meet little Tilda, my brothers daughter. Natural center of attention of the party. She is so CUUUTE! I can't believe my brother actually managed to do something right... X-D
Mom got books about LowCarbHighFat food for Christmas (she had them on her wish list!), and is slowly reading them through and slowly changing her diet. Problem is, she is such a traditionalist when it comes to food, it might take time. And she really needs to lose weight....
Good news with mom though, she got some work hours at an old folks home in another city not far from where she lives, and the big hospital where her sister works have called and talked to her to, showing interest. So, she sure is working hard on getting a new job! She sends between five and ten applications a week now! And since she can't stand computers, it is all handwritten. :-) I am so proud of her!
On Sunday night when we drove home, we discussed Student Union politics. We haven't been involved with the Student Union for YEARS! And still we can't let go 100%. Still we discuss what we could have done differently... what went wrong... etc, etc and on and on... And yes, I have a very smart man... :-P
Today we saw on the site where we have communities and news for our LARP, that the GMs needed one more GM to work with them, and asked the players (us) if anyone was interested. (We had 4, but one is needing a break at the moment, so three... to take care of over 40 players...) So, they needed one more.
peting73 has been playing regular pen-paper-rpgs since he was a kid, and been a GM in those for years and years to.... So, he sent an application to the other GM's. Gonna be exciting to see if he'll be one to! :-D
