Oh good lord. I haven't updated in a long, long time have I? Sorry about that.
Yes, I am alive and well. My mom went visiting here last weekend. It was great meeting her! I am so impressed by her! She has lost so much weight going on this diet thing she is on it is amazing. And you can really see it to. She is on this diet called Cambridge Diet. I am always a bit hesitent when it comes to diets, but now I can see with my own eyes it really works. But of course, since I have no self-confidence, I don't think it would work for me. And I like to eat food to. Anyway. I am very happy for my mother. Her body was about to give up on her under the big overweight of hers. I am glad she is doing something about it, actually. I honestely am. :-)
Otherwise this week it has been business as usual. Work, WoW, LJ, movies, kisses and love with Peting, snuggle cats, say hi to friends. Etc, etc.
And of course, this weekend it was Midsummer weekend. :-) It was LOVELY!!! It really was. :-D Only less then lovely thing was that I missed aunts yearly HUGE family gathering on the thursday, since I worked nights. Darn. But friday, midsummer eve was spent with Kiltfan, M and little Linnea, Eo, L, Charlie and M's friends a gay couple that was so much fun and absolutly lovely! Might add that all off us had been or where involved in the student union life. Except little Linnea and one half of the gay couple. The ballet dancer. Yes, he was an honest to goodness balletdancer. A little shy at first (no wonder in that company!) but he soon warmed up to us and he was sooo wonderful! Under the shyness a man with one hell of a sense humor hid! We just had to dig him up! :-D
Of course there were a bit of drinking at the party. It always is. But this year Kiltfan and Peting only invited people who took it easy with there drinking, considering little Linnea.... Good thinking says I. I haven't had this much fun in a long time. Didn't matter that it rained a bit (folklore costumes are mostly made of wool and linnen... Rain? What rain?). So, we got a bit of Kubb-playing done as well. Me, Charlie and the ballet-dancer PWND everyone else!!! I have never been so lucky in Kubb-games before!!! It was a blast. :-D And when the sexuall jokes about sticks, woodies and I don't know what hailed between us all, the shy little ballet-dancer turned around clapping his bum saying: "Well, you know how that works, hun!" The whole place cracked up!!! We didn't stop laughing for a loooong while!!! He got soooo much bonus points from us all, hugs and everything, he turned red from the attention! X-D At least that shows he felt comfartable around us. A good thing indeed! Lets hope they can join us again!
