This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Feb. 18th, 2008

I was planning to write something totally different today, but I stumbled upon this in [livejournal.com profile] sueworld2003s journal instead...

There are changes to the eBay site... BIG changes.... Read this, snagged from [livejournal.com profile] sueworld2003, who in turn have taken it from the Sideshow Toys board she frequents. Read, and ponder...

Quote, from the Sideshow Toys Board:

"I want to pass this information on to the members here.

People are trying to organize a boycott of eBay for the week of February 18ththrough the 25th. This means no buying, selling, or searching.

Why?

Ebay is planning on increasing fees across the board and destroying the current feedback system for sellers.

Paypal is also planning changes that will allow them to hold on to your money, interest free, for 21 days.

Don't like these changes? What can you do?

First watch this video:

What are the actual changes and when are they taking effect?

Hold onto our money? Get ride of the rating system? Are they nuts!!"

I agree. They must be nuts. I am not going to touch the eBay site this week. Are you?
