Update on life and stuffs....

Ah... Bliss.... No work until monday. Thank you, Walpurgis! :-D I don't celebrate it much, but I do enjoy being off work, yes I do. I was supposed to be off thursday, work friday, be off saturday and sunday. Naturally I took friday off. Heaven. :-D Four days of freedom!!!!

Not much been going on. Had a wonderful time yesterday though, with my LARP-friend _devilcandy_. She is a member in this Club at The Makeup Store. And they had this evening where they showed off there products. Gave tips and ideas for makeup and sold alot of good stuff for 20% off the regular price. She asked me to come, which was more fun then I thought! I am not a makeup-person. I don't have much makeup on on a regular day. Unless on special occasions or parties. But makeup is fun to experiment with. And _devilcandy_ is very good at it to. Especially during the LARP-evenings. She can look really creepy.... It sure helps she is a great actor to. Hopefully she can give me a hand, or give me a few pointers on the next LARP. I wanna look creepy to! :-D
Naturally I shopped a little. Expensive, yes, but good stuff. Now I got it in my head to clean out and throw all old makeup away.

Talking about throwing old stuff away. Project for these days off.... CLEANING OUT MY BLOODY BOOKSHELF!!!! *grumble* A pile of comics feel out of it the other morning while I had breakfast and Peting just had fallen asleep after working all night. He was not pleased. :-P Neither was I! Annoying! Now my bookshelf is so full, stuff are falling out. This is not good. Something need to get done.

Talked to mom the other day to. Her knee's and legs are still bad, but she was very happy to. She, her sister and a workmate has started on this diet program together to lose weight. She gets pissed off when one mentions it, but truth be told, reason why her knee's has given up is that she weighs to much. I am no light-weigher either, but I am way taller then her and I move around much more. I really hope it works and she can stick to this... Might save her knee's.

On a totally different note, spicehobbit? Did you see the links for the SCARY good Bootstrap Bill costume? pktaxwench is AMAZING! And the costume looks it to. :-D

Bootstrap's parts and pieces are currently spread all over the living room reminding me I need to work on them, but I've been pretty busy with Sparrow Coat 1.0. That, and I am waiting for the seashells to arrive that I ordered from Florida so I can resume gluing. And I need to order my artifical coral. I'm going for early AWE. :)

Early AWE is a lot of stuff still. And even if the sea-life-stuff is not all the real thing, that coat is going to get really heavy. :-P Not to mention looking really cool! :-D I do expect photos! :-D

im so glad to hear about your mom :-) just try to encoruage her once in awhile. if the motivation came from her, i dont think shell see anythinhg wrong with some positive reinforcement.

Oh those bookshelves! I know the feeling. I try to take one shelf a week. But I always get caught up: "Oh, that one! I have to read it again! I can't get rid of that!" If I'm lucky I actually manage to clear out one or two books per shelf.

I didn't clean out the entire bookshelf, but I did clean out my comics which is a big victory in and off itself. :-)
