Joined a icon-meme when I found it at jans_intentions. I think icon-meme's are fun!

Fun thing is, I had just updated my list of icons with shiny new icons, so it was even more fun to do it then. :-) (Yes, you can snagg icons from me if you wish, just make sure to give credit to the maker. ;-) )

This is the rules of this meme:

1. Reply to this post, and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.

And these are the icons that jans_intentions thought were intresting in my long list of icons... (142! Geez...)


This icon is made by jillicons. She is making very nice icons, some a bit different. I like them. And when I saw this, I thought... YEAH! Why be normal? Normal is boring. Different is fun. Fits me, don't it? Just your everyday woman, just a bit different. ;-D I use this icon when I wanna make a point of seeing things a different way.


This icon is made by lancelotfan. I really like it, since it shows that there is so much more to Will Turner then some fanfic writers wants to give him credit for. If you didn't know it, Will Turner is the character that is getting bashed, kicked and laughed at the most in fanfic in the PotC-fandom. (And Elisabeth for some reason...) I don't think he deserves that. Give the guy some credit! STAT! *grumbles* I use this icon alot when speaking up against the Will-bashers, and also when I am in a melancholy mood.


This icon is made by iconfluence. This is... Just so good. I loved how they in the movies about The Ring, managed to make the ring.... a living thing. I think this icon shows that really well. Also, it is pretty. Yes, I can be shallow like that sometimes. :-P An icon to use when... well. Whenever, really. :-)


This icon is also made by jillicons. Not so long ago I beat myself up a bit over not having enough cat-icons uploaded. I should have, shouldn't I, considering I live with two (insane) cats. This is just such a gorgous picture of a cat. My cats are black, but this cat is just stunning. Look into its eyes? See the beast in there? A cat you can never ever tame. It will listen to you. When it suits him/her. Not before. It will do what you want it to. When he/she wants to. I love cats. So much personallity, wildness and cuddliness in one being. Can't live without them.


This icon is made by trina_crys. I did mention I love cats, yes? Well, I love wolfs to. So much, in fact, I have a wolf howling at the moon tattooed on my left shoulder. Had this icon not been moving, it would have looked alot like my tattoo, actually. Wolfs are the most wonderful wild animal in the world. But they need our protection, they really do. Old beliefs still linger that they are evil. They are not. Really not. They got a stamina that amaze me, a very intresting set of social rules in the pack, and hunting-mind that is hard to match. A true survivor in the wild. I love them.

i wonder why will gets bashed so much in fanfic? hes quite the stoic, noble guy. is it because he still gets made fun of for being captain obvious from lotr?

I have no idea, actually. Maybe because he so much is the good guy of the trio of leading characters. Jack is... well, Jack. And Elisabeth is no damsel in distress exactly. Might be since he is so true to Elisabeth? I don't know. It annoys me alot, though.
