But first! Some good news. :-D I was able to go down in time at my job, so YAY! Now instead of working fulltime, 100%, I now work only 75%! YAY!!! This feels so amazingly good! I got my new schedule the other day, and it is just love. Pure love... *sigh* So this is the last week of fulltime angst. :-)

sunnifwa had ourself a full pirate-night the other night. She had only seen the first of the three movies, and we decided to see them all in one go. Sadly, sunnifwa didn't enjoy them quite as much as I, but... *shrug* Whenever have we agreed on everything, eh? ;-) Oddly though, the day after I got an SMS, saying that I was an evul women! Why, you ask? Well, because dear sunnifwa now wanted to read pirates fanfic, despite the fact she didn't enjoy the movies to much (to much plot and to long). Although she liked the ending she admitted, so there we fully agree! Anyways. Here is a reading-list for you! Am I still evul? ;-D
Fair warning for you people who have not seen At Worlds End yet... All of these stories are FULL with spoilers for said movie. With that said. On we go.
I'll start with my favorite, written byfaeriquene. It has the oddest pairing, Barbossa and Elisabeth. One of the first stories I stumbled upon, I didn't think I'd like it (the rest here is mostly Will/Elisabeth if there is a pairing at all). But she makes it work. And work damn well, without losing sight of the other characters. It is sweet. It is weird. It is sad. It is exiting. It is angsty. It is damn, DAMN well written. It is a WIP, so is not finished. And she is good at keeping her readers on there toes. I love this story. It has blown me away, again, and again. This, sunnifwa, is the one I was talking about the other day. This you should read.
The entire thing is posted infaeriquenes fic-journal: faeritales. In the side-bar there are tags for each and every chapter. Read it. I beg you.
Time's run out - Now this is an odd take! I had to read it several times to figure out the quirk. Hints in the comments if you can't. ;-) Goes with this fanart.
Salvage - A picture with a story... a possible story about how Bootstrap Bill and Jack Sparrow might have meet. With some mythology thrown in. ;-)

pirategasm got a lot of grand responses! And this one is very intresting. We don't think much of Gov Swann, do we? Well. I kinda like him, after all. This is a good look on him.
veronica_rich has written a small losely held together series of fics that I honestly love and adore... She has in it added an original character that also appears in AWE... Read them and figure it out. They are very lovely written. I'll try to put them in somewhat of an order...
A Debt to be paid - With intrest - The Pirate boy - A heart divided - Supernatural
99 souls Part I, 99 souls Part II, 99 souls Part III - an intresting take on the "many-Jacks-scene" in AWE. And a good explinatione to... why? :-P
Hero - A very nice little story of five parts and an epiloge. Again with another take of the original character also appering in the movie... I rather like this story. Jack gets seen with other eyes.
Ship of the Night - This is sorta a longish story, but it is finished. Not a WIP. It has an intresting twist to it and a riddle, and wonderful writing as well. A view of what might have happend after AWE...

Black Waters - A WIP that I doubt will be finished. But not matter! What is there is oh so very very good.... Be warned though. This is dark-fic. Really, REALLY dark... Be warned if you are sensitive (not you right, Sunnifwa? ;-) )
Falling - Ascent
These two are very intresting, and are showing the end of AWE from a different pair of eyes. This is angsty. But oh so very good.
Sexy tiems? - This is not a fic, but it'll make you laugh your ass off, I swear. :-D
Ten Years - Set after AWE. Sad, sweet, romantic and... interesting. I rather like it. :-) Just what it says, about those infamous ten years.
The husband of the King - Also set after AWE, showing just how MUCH Will Turner changed during the three movies...
Ten years... - Same name, different story. Much more sad, dividing up the ten years, one by one by one... Long time to be waiting.
Lastly I humbly offer my own stuff on a platter. :-) You know how I love it when you read on comment on my stuff,sunnifwa? Well. :-) Here you go.

Bootstrap Bill's Nightmare - I wrote for that Halloween challange atpirategasm. I can't believe I entered that thing. Surprisingly people seemed to like it. :-) I'd love to hear what you think of it, sis. ;-)
That would be all (in fact this is all I have ever pimped here in my journal... and all I have saved in my memories under "Fanfics I have enjoyed reading..."). So, sis...
