It is here, it is shiny and it is mine, I tell you! MINE!!! *grin* The new computer has indeed arrived. :-) Me am a very, very happy girl. And MrP is slightly jeolus.... Ha ha ha! :-D I am not so computer savy, but according to MrP it is better then his, and he is a bit jeolus of it... *snicker* It will take time before I get used to the thing though, since it has Windows Vista on it. So far, I like it muchly. Sometimes it doesn't do what I think it should logiclly be able to do, but other times it so so nice, I forgive those little in-logical things. :-P It is very shiny to, Vista. And working and playing on this computer is a pure joy as well, since it is sooo much quicker and the graphics-card (I think it is) is crazy better. I have all the installations on top on WoW and it runs crazy smooth. And that is a very graphics-heavy game... Me am very, very happy with my new comp! :-D

Worked on a saturday today, not so very fun. More fun was had when I got home, though since we decided to go see Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, finally. And, I was pleasantly suprised. :-) It had just enough action for my taste, and just enough adventure, not to mention comedy. Well-balanced in that way, I would say. The twists and turns in the plot made my head spin at times, but is was not impossible to follow, though. In fact, it made the movie more fun, at least for me. :-) And Jack... dear old Jack... What can I say, eh? That character is surely something else. I love him just for the style he has when he runs... :-D When all those crabs walked by him with the Black Pearl... That was such a grand scene! What a great face he made then. Elisabeth Swan, surely has developed some, hasn't she? I still am not sure about her voice, it is a bit... "screamy" for me (if that is a word) but I sure liked seeing her kick some ass. Sad story about her father there though. I liked that guy. Barbossa was cool to, not to mention his monkey. Cute scene there at the end between the two, shows us a softer side with the tough pirate. He surely deliverd as well. The other pirates in the brotherhood or whatever it was called was also cool in there own way. The one we meet most was indeed cool, Captain Sao Feng. Didn't know Yun-Fat Chow could be that ugly! He is quite the handsome man, actually. It was a nice character, that had alot of pride, I thought. Other character with alot of pride is, of course, Davy Jones. I really, really liked that character. I thought it was nice that they showed us how he could have looked like, had he not been cursed. Sad love story there with Kalypso. I adore that mans voice, by the way, just as I did when he played Viktor in Underworld. So, lots of nice things in the movie, you could say, but the biggest suprise, that I didn't see coming at all was... that Will Turner took the place as captain of the Flying Dutchman.... I didn't see that one coming a mile away, honestly. My two guesses during the movie for new captin of the Dutchman was Barbossa and Sparrow. I was convinced of it. I mean, Will and Elisabeth was the love-couple of the movie. They even got married (loved that scene btw...). And so it couldn't be him... I thought. I love suprises like that in movies. Also, hot damn, he looked HOT as the dommed captain!!! *drools slightly* That scar on his chest sure helped. I have a thing for scars, if you didn't know. If any of you have found, or seen a picture with the doomed Captiain William Turner, GIVE! PLX!!! *begs*
All in all, you could say I really liked the movie. The Pirates-series of movies actually reminds me of the Die Hard movies. First one: Damn good. Second one: So, so, but still good. Third one: Beats the second one, but not the first. :-)
