This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

So, here we go. This is a gift to [livejournal.com profile] uglybusiness who allowed me to use her absolutly stunning artwork in my Drusilla journal that I use when I roleplay her on LJ, [livejournal.com profile] macabreprincess. To say thank you I offerd to try and write a little drabble to her, since that is the only thing I can write. And here it is.

Warning to those that hasn't seen the last season of Angel, this might be a bit spoilery...

So first the setting that I asked for from [livejournal.com profile] uglybusiness:

A setting. Well... I've always wondered what was Dru's reaction when she learned about Spike's "resurrection" in Angel's season 5. Cause I think she would know or just it feel somehow, being a seer and Spike's Sire, right? Just please don't bash/humiliate her. I hope this setting is clear enough, I've never had to make up one before. Please let me know :)

And this is what came out of it. Very short, but not to shabby I think.... Hope you like it!

Sweet William
By KSena
Pairing: Spike/Dru, in a way...
Rating: No idea, PG13 perhaps?
Warning: None.
Disclaimer: Characters are all Joss Weadons. I am just playing with them, nothing else.
Summary: Dru with her powers of sight, feels that Spike has returned... This is a gift to [livejournal.com profile] uglybusiness.

Like a bird in the sky. I could see him. Not flying, no. That would be silly wouldn’t it. I told him once. I felt the flames. And up and gone he was. Pained me all over. The stars cried for him to. All alone I was then. Daddy burning from inside. And grandmomma all gone to. Asked me to help her, they did. The pesky laywers. But Daddy didn’t like it. Didn’t want his family back. No one never did, but Princess. But then I felt it. Like when I was a little child when I was still good and the sun touched me. All warm and fluttery. He was back. My sweet William was back. But still burning he was. From inside. Just like Daddy. No. No more family for Princess. No one to care for. Or be cared by. Only demons to play with. They make me feel. But never as well as my sweet William…

Ooh, I liked this! Drusilla's voice is always a challenge and you got it pegged in a few sentences, great work :)

Thanx alot! I do love writing for her, and I don't find it that hard. It is not the best Dru-thing I have done, but it is pretty good. :-) Thanx for commenting!

Oh... *is literally speechless* oh, wow :) You did it! You wrote a drabble for me!

This is wonderful, and so true to the character. The crazy mixture of evilness and longing and loneliness and memory of 'when she was still good' and... *sigh* Poor forsaken Dru :( And, I love the many hints and references to events from both shows you've woven into this. The flames, the bird, the 'make me feel'... I just love it :) THANK YOU!

Would you mind me linking and pimping this in my journal and Russian diary? :)
