Beware! Bitchy post comming right up!

A question here: Can a person act like an ass-hole and get away with it just because it is over the net? I believe some people think so. Or they just missed the netiquette-memo. I am highly annoyed here.

I am usually online on ICQ, MSN, AIM and Yahoo! when my comp is on. And on ICQ my Ignore list is growing longer by the day. Such idiots that has tried to talk to me! Sending me porn-pics (why would I be intrested in your penis, I wonder?), sending me idiotic-commercial-links (no, I don't want to buy from your mothers-uncles-brothers store...) and just being basiclly annoying people acting like ass-holes. And then, when I tell them that if you don't cut it out, I'll bann you and put you on my ignore list, they call me the bitch.......... SAY WHAT?!?! *sigh*

Nowadays I play alot of WoW (like any of you could have missed that...) and the same problem accours there. The worst the other day, when I played. I have now managed to get my hunter up to level 38 *am proud*, so naturally I have gone to an area in the game where the quests and beasts are a little tougher to manage, level 35-45. Last time I played, I was jumped by another character inviting me to a group wanting us to do quests together. When finding the little guy (an undead rouge), I saw that the character was level 15.... in an area with beasts level 35-45.... See why that won't work very well???? The little guy was persistant, tryint to invite me again, and again, and again, telling me in chatt "Invite me!" again, and again.... Wouldn't leave me alone. I told him why I didn't think it was a good idea to be in this area, and what area would be good for him to quest in. And then it came.... "Are you swedish?" OK. What the hell? I told him yes, but that wouldn't make me help him more, and again I told him why this area wasn't a good place to be. Didn't help. They guy now asked me in swedish for help, running after me, trying to pay me in ingame-money, trying to invite me to a group. Me, I am pretty pissed of by now. He then tells me I must help him, 'cause he is only a nine year old boy. *head-desk* OK. To have an account on WoW you NEED to be 18 years of age. OK, so he might have played on a brothers/sisters account, but still!?!?!!!! I didn't get rid of the annoying little thing, but put him on my Ignore-list (yes, you can ignore people on WoW to). And then I stopped playing for that day, since this annoying little pest destroyed my gameingexperience for that day!

Seriously.... Just because you sit infront of a computer-screen doesn't excuse bad behaviour... Gladly I have sensible people on my F-list so there is somewhere I can go and chatt with people that actually know how things work....
