This weekend has been really, really great! Just what the doctor orderd, so to speak! :-D Last week I didn't feel to great. Or as my love puts it, it was one of those "IcantdoanythingIsucksomuch"-weeks. To cheer me up, he took me out for dinner on friday night. Something he does VERY rarely, so it felt great. Then we just cuddled together for the rest of evning. I felt loved. And I needed that at that momement. So, friday evning was good. :-)
Continue on to saturday. Also good. Me and my love got into a cleaning frenzy and did some serious cleaning of his, soon our, apartment. It is really neat there now. Even though it came with a prize. I accedently broke one of his collectible Lord of The Rings-stuff, that he got with his extended DVD.... He was NOT happy. But when he saw how sad I was about it (and after he had calmed down), he kissed me and we, well, made up, in a matter of speaking. :-P
After cleaning and stuff, I prepared for the LARP. Had a bad feeling when I was going there. I have counted on that my character, Lili von Carlos, will die, or her lover, Amadeus von Carlos, will die soon for a long time now.
Story of lose and grief among vampires...
So, the set-up for the LARP of saturday night was that the Prince of the city (Amadeus von Carlos) was going to have a trial. With all the trimmings, judge (him) and jury and the whole thing. Only thing is, it never happend. 'Cause all of a sudden there came a challenge for the throne from another vampire that wanted the titel Prince of Borås Domain. Since Lili was not only Amadeus mistress, she was also blood bound to him, she had no choice to step up and attacking the challenger. It didn't succed, since he used his mental powers on her, stopping her. Instead the debating was going on and on. The tension in the room was so strong you could nearly touch it. Until the two challengers left to, as they said, discuss the matter. (Skipping some stuff that didn't consern my character..) Since Lili also is the leader of her Clan, the Ventrues, she had to deal with her clans-man and have a meeting with them. All of a sudden, in the middle of the meeting, she feels her blood bond to Amadeus breaking painfully and she knows that he is dead. At that moment the beast within her is let loose and she goes into frenzy. Violently so... She runs like hell up the stairs to reach the place were she has seen him last, growling shoving everyone away in the process until she nearly reaches that room she runs into all of clan Brujah. They are the strongest of all vampires. It was like running right into a wall. After some fighting (and use of there supirior physical powers) they finally calm her down enough to dare letting her lose. She leaves the gathering, goes home and collapses infront of a painting of Amadeus. The new prince also sends her Amadeus clothes. His tie she now wears in hounor of there love.
That wasn't everything that happend during the LARP but it was the most dramatic. And it was so much fun to play out Lili's emotions during the course of the evning it is unbelievable!!! It gave me an extreme energy-boost!
During the sunday we played Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 as usually, with alot of fun stuff happning there as well, even if they weren't quite as dramatic. The evnings adventure ended with our characters being transported magiclly to another country they have never been in, and losing ALL there stuff, leaving them naked... :-D
Today has been a pretty good day, for a monday, as well. The lecture of today was quite intresting for once with a great speaker. And I also got one of my examination-papers back, wish I passed! Yay me!!!
