I know, I know... :-/ It's really starting to bother me.
Not sure how it works with talking about special occession with Peting's cousin though. She has a mental disability, so you have to be very clear with her, you know? So maybe, all this talk is for her benefit? To get it in her head? Getting her to think in new ways can be... problematic at times. And she's a serious sugar addict, so to have her stop sugar and carbohydrates to keep her diabetes under check has been interesting. It has worked though, and much like Peting and my MIL she now keeps her diabetes in control with every little medication.
But even though, it gets a bit much sometimes. I mean, my MIL keeps giving us books about LowCarb food and the dangers with carbohydrates that she has read herself and thinks we should read to, hinting about Alexandra. And she eats extremly little sweets. :-/
