No, it really doesn't. I've lived with cats my whole life, and they've all meant the world to me. It never does get easier. Both mom's Maine Coons died before they were 5 years old. Sigge got attacked by another wild animal. He almost had the same colour as a fox, so I wonder sometimes if he was mistaken for one. Hence he was attacked and then died. And Ozzy, sweet Ozzy... had eaten something badly and then just... died. Damn. I feel so horrible for my mom. :-/
