Ooh! Another gamer! I haven't done all that much table top or LARPing since my daughter was born in 2003, but I still consider those big hobbies. We have a game group that, in theory, meets every other Wednesday evening. We're supposed to be starting a Stargate game (d20), but we've been trying to get everyone in one place for months without success, so we mostly end up playing things like Sentinels of the Multiverse or just hanging out and talking.
I used to GM Amber Diceless fairly often, and I did some mixed White Wolf stuff (but not Wraith or Changeling) in the 1990s. I also ran some GURPS. I don't think I'm likely to GM again any time soon because I would be a terrible, terrible fit for our current group, stylistically. I can have fun playing with them, but we would all be unhappy if I tried to GM.
I used to write and run one shot LARP scenarios, using a homerules system called PlotLuck, but I haven't written a new one in a very long time. My best time for that sort of writing seems to be about 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., and I've been primary caretaker for our daughter (my husband has to leave for work before she gets up for school) and needing to be awake in the early morning. Also, I've been giving my attention to fic writing.
