Your love life sounds pretty common, though. I mean, it seems many people only have one or two real boyfriends/girlfriends before they find the one that sticks. With all my messing around, I still only had a few serious relationships.

I'd have been pissed that girl just tried to take control, especially when she locked them in a bedroom while the other girl was having seizures! Seems you were the only one with a level head there, and luckily for her they were at your house!

I didn't grow up with the open house community you did but I sure agree about missing the freedom.
