This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Indeed.

And I figured in the spirit of the season and considering it is the end of the year... Why not join in on this? :-) Everyone, even me, might feel good about some encouragment sometimes, right? :-D

Just make sure to click reply to my comment and not post a new comment... ;-) IF you want, that is. No need if you don't want to.

ANYHOW!

I have finished off all my Christmas gifts. The package from Mr Idiot actually arrived on time. Shockingly enough. :-D Had one that was a pain in the ass to wrap, but I managed that one to (Peting73's gift...).

All in all, I feel pretty prepared. :-) Gonna be Alexandras first Christmas, and I just know she is going to be spoiled rotten by friends and family.

Spicehobbit was here visiting and we exchanged gifts a bit beforehand as it were. I got a cool tea-mug (Peting got one to!) and a nice earring that is a dragon wrapping itself around my ear... SO COOL! A bit tricky to put on, but damn cool! :-D Alexandra got a rock'n'roll onesie and a wonderful rattle from Brio. I love LOVE the wooden toys Brio manufactures. I hope Alexandra will get plenty from them from friends and relatives.

Lately I've been reading a lot about Shirley Temple... I have no idea why, but I have. Watched some of the shorts she did before she made it really big and reading on her webiste and such. Really interesting. Now I wanna read her autobiography if I can get my hands on it...

Some of the first movies she did was these shorts called Baby Burlesks... I really liked them, as long as one remembers they were made during the 1930's... Shirley was only 5 years old in these little short movies.

My favorite ended up being this one, Glad Rags To Riches. It's only 10mins long, so I hope you take a chance to watch it. :-)

Right. :-) Better go to bed now. First Christmas party is tomorrow! :-D First of many...
