Yeah... I mean, if you look back 5-10 years, people had hardly seen an automatic at all! All cars are gear-shifted here. Well, now there are a bit more automatic ones, but they are still considered rare. And if you drive one you are considered a lazy bastard. X-D I find it fun to drive now and then, just for varity. :-)

And we sure did have a really lovely time on that trip. :-) It is always awesome to meet my huge family and all. :-D Not to mention all the food... o.O
