I'm with you on this; it's so stupid. What the fuck does re-tweeting even do?? 1) Signal that you're interested and your'e very hip and caring or 2) spread awareness about the issue.

Neither of those things in general help the cause your'e "re-tweeting" for. What an inefficient mechanism to 'save the world'.
