This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

I think my computer is slowly starting to give up on me. :-/ Not good. It still works, and I do frequent backups on my external HD (nicknamed Frenchie) to make sure I don't lose anything. Still. It is a sad thing. I've had this thing for nearly five years now, and it has never complained or done anything stupid before. The only thing I use it for is the net, Word and World of Warcraft. :-/ Poor comp... *pats it*

My Firefox ain't working 100% properly anymore, so I figured I'd use Chrome instead. I've used it a bit at work, and I kinda like it. BUT! I couldn't get my bookmarks to work in Chrome. Anyone knows how to add bookmarks in Chrome? I am totally confused. :-P

Since Tuesday afternoon I've been in quite a great deal of pain, and as such felt like shit... Still worked though. Nearly half the staff at the big city library have been sick, and when the staff gets sick? They call in us who are hired by the hour. Sure, I could call them and tell them I am sick to. But I was just in pain. And sick as it sounds, I am quite used to be in pain. My pain threshold is... quite high. So I worked. And it was OK. The staff, my workmates, were worried and checked with me several times during the days. I hope the visitors to the library didn't notice. Only difference was that when I was to show them something in the shelfs, I walked a bit slower... But that is all.

The pain subsided this morning. :-P Not on my period, so it isn't menstrual cramps, even if it is in the same area... I do suspect it is my Endometriosis that is being an ass anyway. Probably got more cysts or something. Yay. Or not. :-/

And to those in the Tokio Hotel fandom on my f-list? At least the oldies that has been around for a while? Anyone heard anything from [livejournal.com profile] demon_kyo? Kinda worried about that girl...

Right. Off to bed. Work tomorrow to. And a check up at the Docs to see about that pain.

Lil red demongirl...

I had firefox issues as well and had to move to Chrome. To import bookmarks from firefox, just go to 'tools' (the wrench in the upper right), click bookmarks, then import bookmarks. You should probably see how from there.

Also, I haven't heard from her, but she's visited my journal a few times, so I do know she's still around. Thank goodness! I've been worried about her, too.

Sorry to hear about your computer, know the feeling, mine worked just like it sould for... hm...3½ year, and then I went to India it just died, it stands there in the corner and looks sad, making me just as sad....

And the pains, it doesn't sounds good at all, please make sure to see someone about it, and I hope you feel better tomorrow (and yeah, I know how it is, then you work on hours, you almost never call in sick...)

I didn't import my bookmarks when I switched from Firefox to Chrome; the ones I wanted to keep, I just copy/pasted and then saved manually... which was a lot of work, but considering that my bookmarks are often a huge mess, it was time to rearrange them anyway. XD

So if the import thing doesn't work, you could just save them individually using Ctrl + D :D

I can't help you with Chrome more than other people in the comments have, but I do prefer it to Firefox. It's just not as... clunky. Slow, is what I mean I guess.

I'm glad you're not in pain anymore. I was a little concerned because you had mentioned it in your last post too, I think. I just sort of assumed it was cramps, but I guess it wasn't. Either way, I'mg lad it's gone.. and I just hope it isn't a cyst that you have to deal with!
