Date: 2011-11-20 09:11 pm (UTC)The internet is changing who profits from content, and everyone is trying to protect their piece. On one hand, I do believe that old ways are not sustainable, and policing the internet is a futile task. On the other hand, IP law is intended to protect and incentivize innovation, which is a critical part of the economy.
I can sympathize with this view since I plan on generating IP at some point in the future.
