This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

The larp yesterday was a blast! It really was! Problems and trouble for Rose was solved (well, most of it...)!

We used some of the LARP societies money and rented another locale for a change of scenery. And what did we rent...? A part of our dear old student union pub... *smirk* But it worked very fine, since we have a few students that are active in the student union still, we got to rent it a bit cheaper to. :-) And the girls that arranged the whole thing did an AWESOME job! Just saying. :-D

I got to borrow some feminine jewelry and hair-stuff from [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit to use, since I don't have that much stuff like that. :-) So the combination between that and my stuff (what little I have...) transformed me into Rose in ball mood. :-D I promised [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit to show pictures of this event, so here we go. (I have re-sized the images this time, so don't be afraid to click on the thumb-nails...)

Full size of me as Rose. Thats my old ball-skirt. It is is just a tiny bit to long. I constantly trip over it. But the material is beautiful, as well as the craftsmanship. So comfy! The top/tops is an old linen and over that a see-through thing with beaded pattern on it. Also, I might have a tattoo, but Rose don't. So during the game it was totally ignored. No one noticed. I mean, really. Vampires that has been around since the Victorian age do not have tattoos!

Me all vamped out. This is the makeup I sport when I play Rose. Considering the makeup has been on since 8pm Saturday evening and this picture was taken around 6am Sunday morning, I'd say it holds up pretty good. The jewelry I got to borrow from [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit was some seriously gorgeous stuff. I felt very girly. :-) (Ignore my many chins and other nastiness...)

This picture is my favorite of the three [livejournal.com profile] peting73 took before we crashed on the bed and slept the sleep of the dead...
My hair-do of the evening. :-) I got to borrow an insane amount of little clippers from [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit, and this bigger clip-thing. I didn't know what to do with them all, but they were cute so I borrowed them all. Rummaged around my own stuff and found that HUGE butterfly. So I put ALL of it in my hair! When I took them all out I counted them. I had 29 hair-buckles and hair-clippers in my hair... o.O I am not kidding. But it looked kinda neat, I think. :-)

So, yeah. Saturday was an awesome evening. :-) I got some inspiration to work a bit more on my Rose-story after I wrote drabbles a whole day the other day at [livejournal.com profile] noel_of_spike. :-) It sparked my writing inspiration. And, since Rose ain't dead (yet...), the story will continue. Be prepared to be bored with that in the future.

If you wanna read the drabbles I wrote there, you can see them here (the community is open for anyone to read):
My drabble-call
First three drabbles...
...two more...
... yet another two...
Last two drabbles...
And closing post of my day.

At work, when not writing on Rose story and no one is calling on the line, I am reading Eclipse... *groan* Good lord. It is just as bad as the other two. If not worse. I can't stop reading the crack, since it constantly baffles me... I have read nearly half the book so far. It is very slow at work at the moment... I posted my views of New Moon the other day, if your interested in reading it.

But lets end this in a happy note! It is soon Christmas! And soon I'll have two days off! Yay! Here! Have a cool cat poem that I found at [livejournal.com profile] magic_art today! :-D

A Cat's Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas
and all through the house.
Not a creature was stirring,
not even a mouse.

'Cuz the cat had pounced on him
and tore him apart -
ate his mousy intestines
and chewed up his heart.

Kitty thought he heard sleighbells,
which made him take pause -
he stopped daintily licking
the blood from his claws.

"Must be Santa," thought kitty
(that quite clever cat)
'Cuz nobody else climbs down
the chimney like that.

Indeed it was ol' Santa,
so jolly and fat
With a huge load of presents
and all for the cat.

"Wow, the best Christmas ever!"
Kitty thought with a purr,
Then he coughed up a hairball
and shed some more fur.
