Ah.... the days before Christmas... Not at all stressful, are they? *ironic*
But yesterday was awesome! :-D And strange. *lol*
Friday my best friend,
spicehobbit called at around 7pm in the evening... "Hey, sis... wanna come to a musical at the Gothenburg Opera house tomorrow? Me and my family got an extra-ticket we don't know what to do with!" Cue me go: Wait what? X-D
Found out her brother had ended up not being able to go, and they couldn't cancel the ticket, so... She called me. :-) I was glad to go!
spicehobbits parents are just as awesome as she is. And since I have known
spicehobbit for 20 years, I have also known her parents for just as long! They claimed they celebrated our long friendship, and bought us dinner. :-D Was a great afternoon.
And the musical in question, Sunset Boulevard, was... Interesting. Sad, but wow... Such AWESOME songs! Very tragic characters. Especially the butler, Max. Man... I loved that character. It sure helped that my favorite musical singers, Fred Johansson, played the part. ;-) And even though the story was very tragic, it sure showed an interesting side of 1930's-40's Hollywood. :-) I'll have to find the movie with the same name.
After that, I went straight to the vampire-LARP where I spent a very fun, and interesting evening, playing Rose Valentine. Apparently her nights are numbered... I found out her nemesis, Magnus Runarsson, is soon waking up from his long, long slumber... That meeting is not going to end well, people! Well... at least not for Rose. ;-) He'll probably end up killing her. But it is OK, really. I have my new character waiting. It is not that I dislike playing Rose. She is a VERY powerful character! Not to mention interesting and very, very twisted. But I have played her for over 3 years now. It is time to do something else.
I also found out one of our GM's is going go stop being a GM and go back to being just a player. He has been a GM for years, and he is very VERY good at it! Some of the best scenes I have done in the game, I have done with him. Sad thing. I am glad he'll stay on as a player though. :-) He is a really fun guy, and I would have missed him had he stopped LARPing all together.
A note on the
th_wishlist stuff? Well, I have a ton more packages to send off, they are almost done though, so... I'll send them off Tuesday. Hopefully. They'll be late as hell, but hey... At least they'll be sent. :-P
I am sorry I am so behind on my f-list. It is Christmas time, and I am always stressing this time of year. :-P Bare with me, yeah? *hugs huge f-list*
