New library and important article....

Worked at another library this evening. A pretty neat one, although a bit hidden. :-P It is part of a big building... behind a gas-station. X-D Quite silly really, but they sure have one impressive collection of music and DVD's. :-D It was a good evening. I was the one to close the library down, locking all the doors and such.... A lot of doors. on the first time there. :-P I don't think I missed any. I walked around and checked twice. :-P I'll call them tomorrow and see if I missed anything. Hopefully not. Interesting thing is, I found out stuff about the library-system that isn't used at my regular library... but is supposed to be used there to. :-P I'll have to ask them about that. Interesting times. Since this place is just a regular library, I suppose they don't care much about there kids and youth section, 'cause geez.... It looked like a tornado had went through there, so I cleaned it up a bit. I hope they liked that. :-) I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I call. I liked the place, so I hope I can score some more hours there. :-)

The It Gets Better project is still on my mind. Geez... Kids should NOT kill themselves over who they are, dammit! Sure, I was bullied through hell and back as a kid, but I never contemplated suicide. I think having spicehobbit as a friend helped ton. I seriously don't know what I would have done without you back then, sis. *hugs* My parents were an awesome support as well, I remember, both knowing what I was talking about since they had been bullied to.

Anyway, this article was damn interesting, I must say. As the writer is saying, it is interesting how parents say that the bullies are... really good kids and really can't help being kids.

I agree with her. BULLSHIT! Bullies are fucking assholes. And should be called just that. Sure, they can grow out off it. But being a bully means your an asshole. So yeah.... Read this article. It is brilliant!
