Sometimes it feels good to know what you do is a good thing and appreciated, doesn't it? :-)

Well, I got that feeling today. :-) See, I was supposed to only be at the small library today, but since the librarian I was supposed to work with had to stay home with her sick kid, it was just me and a replacement for the few hours it is opened and after that I went to the bigger library. Wish was awesome! I got to see that my fantasy-exhibition got some attention from visitors, so that was always awesome. Especially from young kids because OMG there are cool stuff like daggers and swords in there! *laugh*

But also from adults. I was supposed to leave work at 4pm today. I left at 4:30pm. X-D Thing was that just a moment before 4pm a woman came over and she was returning books about LowCarbHightFat food and borrowing more about it to. We started talking a bit, since I can't help but discuss this way off eating. And we bonded a bit over it to. She, just as me, had discovered how great she felt eating like this, skipping all carbohydrates. No other visitors in the library then, so we chatted away a bit. Then out of the blue she asked if I was to be there regularly now, working full time at the library. I had to tell her no, I am just a trainee, funded by the employment office and that I'd have to leave at the end of February. At this she said it was to bad, since she thought I was one of the more fun and energetic librarians she had ever meet... o.O That, my friends is the best compliment I have ever gotten. I didn't really know what to say to that, but I thanked her so very much when she left. Talking to my college (the talkative one) a bit and then I started to head to my outerwear. The next visitor my colleague started helping asked for lots of info about fantasy. At this she just pointed at me and said thats the one you should talk to. *laugh* So, I got involved in yet anther discussion. I seriously can't help discuss fantasy books either, even though I haven't read much what is out and new today. She was a bit older to, making it even more awesome. We checked out my exhibition a bit. She adored the Eragon books, but hated the movie. Something I can understand. The Eragon movie really isn't that good. So now I am curious with the books, since she said they were way better then the movie. Hmm... Anyway, it later showed in the discussion that she hadn't read Eddings The Belgariad Series, so I asked if she liked fantasy with a lot off humor. She said she did, and promptly grabbed the first book. X-D I hope she'll enjoy it. ;-)

So yeah, that was just so much awesomeness!

Also, this is just... so very very gay... so very very slash... on ice. You gotta check this vid out. I couldn't stop grinning for a looooong time after watching this! Old, yes, but still so made of win!
