Goth-boys and there low self-confidence...

Isn't it funny how young goth-boys, who look quite gorgeous, really has no self-confidence?

I was chatting with J, who played Rose lover Nils Bielke, yesterday. He is a great guy, and is quite good looking if you ask me. He sent me a couple of photos off himself playing Bielke since I need them to play Rose the way I should. (She has this... addiction with anything and everything that has to do with her dead lover...) So he sent them so Rose could have a photo off him in her handbag. J is 10 years younger then me, I might add, but was never weirded out by me being all over him at times when we were In Character. In fact, we laughed our asses off after the LARPs when we discussed the happenings with our characters. :-)

When sending them photos, J apologized saying he looks like an idiot on photos. I assured him he didn't and told him that I thought he looked quite nice, making him all embarrassed. And then we came into a discussion about goth-boys and how they all have low self-confidence and maybe thats why they all LARP and all that. It was quite interesting. I never thought about it in that way. But maybe it is true. By playing this all powerful vampire and having to show off a very high self-confidence (like most vamps have), you push your own self-confidence up to? Must be it. Anyway, it was a very fun discussion. :-)

So, if you for some reason like goth-boys and your single, find a vampire-LARP. Take my word for it. ;-)
