Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Have found the perfect Tokio Hotel community for me: [livejournal.com profile] over_th_hill - for fans over 25 or more. *grin* Good to be among peers, I say. *laugh*

Today has been a one off those days when you've been eating and eating and eating.... One off the librarians that only worked hours had her last day today, and she worked at the smaller school-library so my boss was kinda sad to see her go, really. Me and her we didn't get along at all in the beginning, but it did get much much better after we had an uncomfortable but good talk with the help off the boss. My problem with her is that she reminds me very very much about the bullies I had in school and is pretty much a rich kid that don't know how to pay her bills because daddy does it or her boyfriend does it for her... and she is very, very girly. Yeah. But at the same time, she is friendly to everyone, is a very knowledgeable librarian, helpful and basically wants to make the world a better place. So, these last weeks we have started to talk more and she is not... as bad as I first thought. We have even had a few good laughs together. So she isn't really a bad person, we are just a bit to different she and I. :-) She does a few hours a week at another library to and studies as well, so she won't be totally without anything to do, gladly. She wouldn't deserve that. So, gifts were given and I had baked a cake (my boss asked me to, and I like to bake). It was all very nice. And then during the whole day kids from the school came and gave her hand made gifts that they had made her and hugged her and told her they'd miss her. It was very moving, really. I know she was, I could tell by the look on her face. And in the afternoon two off the older kids came with gingerbread cookies and christmas root beer and candy for us all, as a goodbye-gift thing. :-) So, yeah. Been a day off all eating. I hope she'll find more job at other libraries in town. She is a good person after all, I discovered.

After that I ran around town shopping Christmas-gifts. I have never been this late before, seriously. [livejournal.com profile] astroflammante and [livejournal.com profile] tekiila, I'll mail yours out tomorrow, so they will be late but you'll get them. :-)

I did quite a lot off shopping at a second hand store. Why I haven't done that before, I have no idea. Seriously. So much nice stuff that people don't want anymore, and dirt cheap. Perfect gifts, and perfect for my economy. I'll definitly go back there tomorrow. I have a few more gifts to get, but after that, all done. When I get home tomorrow I'll wrap the last gifts and write all my Christmas cards (yeah, they'll be late to).

It has been snowing these last few days, to my surprise. Yes, I know I live in Sweden. Yes, it is supposed to be white everywhere in December here in the north off the world. Newsflash. The south half off Sweden has had green Christmases for the last years. When I was a kid I could go on my sledge at the end off November / beginning off December. No such thing anymore. But now, there is plenty snow around. And the kids have gone crazy around here. No really. It was cold as hell when I walked to work this morning. 30 min walk, hard winds, tiny snowflakes feeling like needles on my skin and about -7 degrees Celsius (19 degrees Fahrenheit). Yeah. I felt like an icicle when I got to work. :-P Good thing I'll get a ride with my boss tomorrow. :-)
