Snakes!

Been a great day today. :-) Actually been out and not being a hobby vampire, as my LARP-friend calls me... my vampireLARP-friend... Ehm. *giggle-snort* Not everyone likes the sun, after all. ;-)

Anyway, today we took a walk through the wonderful zoo here wish was great. Only sad part was that most of the animals were hiding. Bummer. Especially our favorites, the wolverines, the wolfs and the lynxs... The brown bears were in an excellent mood though, so that was fun. :-) Also, they got new lion-cubs the 18th of July, so those were absolutely precious to look at. :-D

And after we walked around in the zoo, we decided to go to the Terrarium next to the zoo to check out snakes, spiders, lizards and turtles... Was so AWESOME!!! Snakes are so pretty. And the more poisonousness they are, the more pretty they become. But I meet a snake today that was not poisonousness and totally gorgeous. Worming himself around my hands. I meet Sixten. :-D

The lady we payed the entrance-fee to told us to come back to her before leaving to meet Sixten if we wanted to pet a snake. Of course we did! So, before leaving we walked back to her. (A gorgeous curvy goth lady, I might add....) And she promptly picked up Sixten from a box she had next to her. Sixten was a Mexican king colubrid. Sleek black with a metallic sheen to him. So, so soft and warm to touch. And his little tongue was flickering on my skin tickling me. He was about 130cm long (51.2 inches). He was gorgeous!!! The goth-lady told us we looked good with a snake. (Yes, peting73 thought Sixten was awesome to!) We asked her what he ate, and she told us that he only ate one rat or a big piece of chicken a week... A week! Talk about cheap pet! And she also added that we were welcome back to get us some "Sixten-babies", since we looked so good with him.... I doubt our cats would approve... And we have already donated our aquarium to my brother.... Tempting though... Very tempting...

You know it is true love when...

You know we have been living together long when me cursing like Hades himself over the fact that LJ is instable.... And peting73s response is: "What? You can't get to your porn?" X-D Man, I love that man...

Well, apart from funny shenanigans between us and our very quirky sense of humor, I have actually been a good girl today. :-) Tomorrow we are going to visit my mother and then go to a birthday party at my aunts and cousins in the evening, I needed to go down town to buy some gifts. And instead of taking the bus or the car, I took a bike-ride. :-) It was actually quite nice. And quicker then I thought. Good thing to that I was out moving, since this is the last day of peting73 vacation, and he couldn't do this tomorrow, he decided that this was going to be a holy unhealthy day. He bought a ton of Coca Cola, chocolates, ice-cream and for dinner... Pizza... So far he hasn't grabbed the beer.... But you never know. X-D A good day, but I bet my stomach will protest wildly tomorrow.
