Public enemies....

I must say. I was a bit disappointed with this movie. Don't get me wrong! It was still a very good movie. Really cool. Again, Johnny Depp proves he is an excellent actor. He plays Dillinger as a character with not much choice, kinda cold... and sometimes I wonder if he didn't have a death-wish to... And in the midst of that, bossy and charming. Recipie for disaster in other words. I liked the movie. The action was fun. The story really good. All of the actors did an excellent job. Music very fitting and very good. (I so need that soundtrack...) And the clothes... MY GAWD! I so need a new pinstriped suit!

But was it as good as the hype around it? Hell no. A really good movie, well worth the ticket-money. But not as good as the hype around it.

Also, cudos to my long suffering hubby, peting73. Can't be easy living with a woman who not only likes to look at men (preferly him...) but at women to... (Marion Cotillard as Billie Frechette... Yum, YUM! Just saying...) And that I think it is fun, at times, to crossdress. :-) Especially in a suit. It is just something... nice with that. So, I did just that. spicehobbit had sewn a gorgeous dress for the opening night and wore a really cute beret. (You looked damn fine in those clothes, sis!) And me in my pinstriped suit, slicked back hair and hat. WIN! :-D

It had been a perfect night had not my menstrual cramps come and hit me over the head with a vengeance... I am in so much pain... Oy! :-/ Hopefully by tomorrow it will have eased up a bit. :-P
