Midsummer, movies, games and friends...

Yes. Midsummer was great. :-) Always fun to meet family and friends, ain't it? :-D And even though I did drink quite a lot of alcohol during Midsummer Eve, I didn't get that drunk, really. It was all during such a long time, since we started at around 11:30am and didn't stop drinking until around 1am or 2am. Long time, and so I didn't get that drunk. :-) I did get giggly though, and we did play the classical game Kubb, a must each Midsummer Eve. :-) Kiltfan's and M's little girl was with us to, she is only 1 ½ years old, and sooooo cute! I love kids! peting73 even thought her his special beer-dance, a sight to be seen, trust me... X-D

The vampire-LARP on Saturday was great to. Lots and lots off political changes and plots and intrigues... Who said it was easy being a vampire??? (Well, SMeyer, does, but lets ignore her... for now...) Rose gladly didn't get in the middle of things. This time. But I am fearing that will change soon. :-P spicehobbit thought I should continue writing the story about Rose and her servants... Sadly that muse has fled me. I am considering printing what I have, bring it to spicehobbit and see if she can kick-start my muse on that project. It is such a great project, I would hate to fail in finish it.

Talking off said woman, I visited her the other day. Just to talk (and eat a delicious dinner!). Gladly she surprised me with having a movie on DVD that I really, really enjoy. It is an old and a bit odd movie, so I wasn't able to buy it, or rent it online. :-P She had it though! WOOT! The movie I talk about is Bugsy Malone, and it is older then me since it was filmed in 1976! Such a cute movie! (The trailer and most of the musical-numbers can be seen HERE, plus a documentary about what the actors do today.)

Also, in the RPG I am in, cityofdesai, I have kinda lost my Drusilla muse... A first, really. She works wonders in pure Buffy-games or Angel-games. But in a multifandom game, she is really hard to play. Think I'll drop her really. :-P Xander, on the other hand is a blast to play! He already got a couple of friends from a few anime-fandoms that he talks to and helps and he also has annoyed Sparda (played by croaky) a couple of times... X-D So, yeah. He is a blast. And now I am considering bringing two other characters to the game, when I dropped Drusilla.... Bugsy Malone from said movie up there, and Captain Will Turner from Pirates... Both there muses has been on my mind these last couple off days during Midsummer, demanding to be let out. Why yes, I am slight insane. You all should know that by now. ;-)
