Birthdays, family and music....

Yesterday we were visiting one of my uncles on my fathers side that had his 55th birthday. It was a lot of fun, despite the fact it was a long drive there and a long drive home. We found a new quicker way to go there, so it went pretty fast though. Meet mom to, always fun that. And my cousins on my fathers side... My little cousin. Or not. X-D I am 5.9 feet (1.80 meters) with shoe size 10 (42). Both considered pretty big on a woman. Well... He has to special order most off his stuff. Why? Well. He is 6.5 feet tall (1.99 meters) with shoe size 14½ (49).... Yeah. We are big in my family. But not our parents, strangely enough. :-D I reach him to his shoulders. And he is not, you know... tin in any way. He is a big guy, with broad shoulders very proportionally built. :-) And he is cute to. ;-) But no girls! I always tease him about it... *grin* His sis, my other cousin, was also fun to meet. She has always been very shy, but gorgeous if a bit heavy but also very tall (my height and she is only 19). I didn't recognize her yesterday. She had lost so much weight, it is amazing! And that made her even cuter!

So, yeah. :-) It was a fun day yesterday. Everyone congratulated us on our engagement to, wish felt great (although I didn't have my ring, it is being resized since it was a tad bit to big). Then, of course, they found out I was unemployed again and was sorry to hear that. Good and bad, good and bad. Fun at any rate to be there. Next week there are more birthday parties since one of my cousins on mothers side is also 19 and my mom has her 56th birthday. :-) Lots of travels there. ;-)

Have to pimp some fun YouTube vids before I give up today. :-D This first one was actually posted in xenites, and shows off just what a great fighter Lucy Lawless is. She always said in interviews that a lot of the fighting stunts where made by her amazingly talented stunt-woman. But if you see Lucy's face, you know it is her. And she is doing a lot of the stuff herself as well. As you can see here. Not to mention she is one gorgeous woman to. ;-) Enjoy some Xena-geekyness!

Talking about all my cousins, I found the blogg of one of them the other day. She is considered the air-head in the family (and sometimes is!), but there is more going on in that blond head of hers then one can think. ;-) Arrhenius Blogg - she writes in swedish though, so... :-)

She did post one of Pink's old music-video's the other day, and I do agree it is still as important today as it was when Pink first made this song. :-) It is awesome!
