I had a wonderful, wonderful weekend. Thank you ladies. Really. Thank you.
My order was to go to said train station and wait there to be picked up. And I did, and got picked up. Thanx S. Was really nice sitting talking to you the 45min drive to our destination. :-) Once there the rest of the kidnapping-mafia had gathered:
astroflammante,
skarvsladden,
tekiila, S, A and Little. Sadly
chigrima couldn't make it, although I happen to know now afterwards she was in on the plans... *glares*
ANYWAY! I arrived on friday to a huge bunch of people trying to hug me all at once. A loving although a bit suffocating experience. ;-D Was a bit crowded in the hall there for a moment.... Evening progressed with lots of food and talking, and talking and talking. It was really, really wonderful to catch up with everyone, even though I was a bit un-used to be in the center of attention, and said as much. Didn't help, though. ;-) Got my belated 30th year birthday gift to. And ladies? I was touched. Really. If you couldn't tell, that is. It was a wonderful, wonderful gift. I got this HUGE album with pictures of me, and all the friends I have meet, and worked with and done silly things with since I started University College here. It is like a memorial over all those years I spent slaving over studies and at the Student Union Pub. I love it. Adore it. It is a true treasure to me. And when I found out how long you've worked on it? It got even more precious. So much love.
Right. Onwards. We had planned to get drunkard and play games that evening after dinner, but hey! We're old and mature now, right? So, nearly all off us went out like a light around 11-12pm. :-D Sillyness. I am feeling old. ;-D Surprisingly not to crowded with all seven off us in
skarvsladdens apartment. (And DAMN! That was a gorgeous apartment, girl!) Mattresses and a huge air-mattress filled the floors here and there. Worked just perfectly.
Saturday was spent walking around, more talking and of course. Table top games of different kinds. In this company, there is no escaping it. All are insane table-top-gamers (and some very competitive... ;-) *hug*). And dang it Little! Why do you have to escape the camera constantly!?!?!!??? I want pics of you to, silly. :-P I think I caught all, I am not sure. ;-) No partying saturday night either. We must be getting old... All of us went out like a light that evening to, around 11-12pm.
Sunday we went to a wonderful little shop selling scrap-book thingies. And I, of course, bought stuff I don't need. Like shiny gelly roll pencils... And paper with piratey and medieval prints on them. Hmm.... Have no idea what to do with them.I guess that will show. :-P Back at the apartment we played yet another tabletop game and packed before
skarvsladden drove me,
astroflammante and
tekiila to the train to go home. Little and A had left on saturday already (work, ain't it a bitch sometime?) and S left at the sunday morning.
To conclude I had a blast, girls. My gift was... the best. But that was not the most important gift, really. To spend time with you lot. That was a gift. If I could only have kicked
chigrima of that blasted island so she could have come to, and all would have been perfect. *glares at said island*
