Yep. Now there is no more Lili von Carlos of clan Ventrue.... I have played this LARP-character for 1 year and 10 months. It has been a struggle at times. She really was a bitch in the end. A bitch with ALOT of muscle! Oh and how bitter she was to... *sigh* Well, no more pretending to be a bitter vamprire.
So, what has Lili been doing since she came to Borås? Well, she originally came to help her cousin by blood, Amadeus, with his trouble with the law. He was accused of stealing from the Prince of the city. This was not true, though. When this problem was solved (took quite some time and effort), the player of Amadeus and I didn't know what to do with our characters... So, we decided to do a love-plot, just to keep ourselfes occupied. As Drusilla says in Buffy, vampires can love, if not wisely... And in the "world" were the game is taking place vampires can become blood-bond to each other, the more blood you drink from anouther vampire, the harder the bond, until level 3 were the person that you are bond to becomes your God. The center of your Universe. So, our characters first fell in love with each other. Then started having kinky blood-sex, resulting in them both getting blood-bond level 3 to each other. Alot of fun game-moments accurd because of this, when we tried to save each others lifes.
After alot of plotting Amadeas succeded in taking the throne in Borås. He became the Prince. Trying to make piece with the werewolves living in the city to. Although the Primogens (= leader of a vampire-clan) became dissatisfied with Amadeus as a Prince and found another vampire with alot of power that they thought would do a better job. So, a duel of power was had. That Lili stumbled into trying to save her love, but the rest of the clan made sure she was occupied leading a clan-counsel, since she to was a Primogen. In the middle of the meeting the blood-bond between Lili and Amadeus was breaking. Painfully. She goes into frenzy, luckely not killing her own clan, running trough the fighter-clan, the Brujahs. She didn't reach his body though, until it had turned into dust... Ah the angst. :-) And what a great range of emotions to play on!
Anyway. After losing her love, Lili became bitter and even more un-human, although it never showed on the outside. She was not to nice to her ghouls, servents, but since they were blood-bond to her, they took it without complaint. She gained alot of power in the city, becoming the Chief-harpy that can give and take status to other kindreds, vampires. And to a kindred, status is everything. So, yeah. Alot of power. Nearly equel to the prince. This power she gained and lost twice. This, of course made her even more bitter. During her un-life she trained hard in the arts of handfighting and martial arts, wich gained her alot of strength and physical power. So, in the end, she was the one with the greatest fighting-strength in her clan. At the tender vampire-age of 74...
Bitter, more rough then her clansmen, always mourning. Well, she wasn't the most fun character to play, although she had her moments. And I didn't want her to just go home to mommy in France, just so I'd get a chance to play another character. No, I wanted Lili to get the chance to go down in a blaze of glory. And she did get the chance. The enemy of the Camarilla in town, the Sabbath, were found. In a house in town. The Prince orderd an attack for it. Lili that actually liked a good fight, was one of the first to sign up. And she did what she does best in a fight. Running headfirst into battle, silent and bitter of course, taking ALOT of damage, as well as dealing out, and dying in the middle of it all.....
Well, now she is at peace, I am sure. :-) It is funny. I played this character for soooo long. She nearly took on a life on her own. She was cocky, bitter, hard, but also ladylike now and then even if that dissapeard totally after the death of Amadeus. I will miss playing her, although I am very glad she finally found peace. She was seriously bitter and tired of her life in the end. And being a vampire, that is not a good thing.
Now I will write a new character to play. It will be intresting to see if she is going to take on a life of her own to... :-)
